December, for the IBF bantamweight title vacated by Junto Nakatani.

Ngxeke of South Africa is ranked WBC #7, IBF #5 and WBO #4 at 118lbs. Salas of Mexico, who recently fought a tune-up at super bantam, is the IBF mandatory and was originally ordered to face Takuma Inoue for the vacant belt. Inoue is now facing Tension Nasukawa.

Neither man really has any top shelf victories
For both, their best may have come against Filipino journeymen last their best: Genesis Libranza for Ngxeke and Aston Palicte for Salas. The biggest name opponent for either is probably Phumelele Cafu, with whom Ngxeke drew in his pro debut. He has one other blemish, a kayo loss to Jayr Racquinel. His opponent, the Mexican southpaw, is as yet undefeated.
