@ellerbe is severely ******ed. He doesn't give a **** about Usyk. He's just a butthurt PBC cheerleader who's mad at Crawford for annihilating Spence exposing the PBC welterweight scene.

Your logic doesn't hold up

Again, Ali was dropped heavily by a 22lb lighter Bivol sized Euro level and saved from a KO loss by the bell and corner shenanigans but in his next fight he stopped Sonny Liston. How you explain?

Joe Louis was being outboxed and was hurt badly by a 30lb lighter LHW Conn who took up the sport 7 years earlier and who weighed the same as Crawford did for his 154 debut

Here's CW and HW world champ David Haye getting dropped heavily and almost KO'd by a SMW journeyman who was 0-4-1 in his last 5, was 21-6-1 (7 KOs) at the time, and sports an overall KO 30% now.

 I don't even think some of them are aware of what they're doing they're just brainwashed. Just look at how few gave a prime Usyk a chance of even winning a single belt at HW, let alone a past prime version becoming undisputed at HW winning and unifying all those belts in his opponent's backyards or on the road and becoming the dominant HW champion of the era and the oldest ever undisputed HW champ. He possessed every skill, attribute, and intangible to do so but they could not envisage it happening. Even worse, we actually had footage of him schooling multiple SHWs with said skills, attributes, and intangibles in the WSB but still they didn't believe and when he proved them all badly wrong they predictably reached for the good old ''weak era'' copium

Sure it does. Unlike the examples with Haye and Ali the men in question were all in their primes at cruiserweight. Cunningham wasn't green or pre prime when he failed to drop all those guys at cruiserweight and neither was Lerena. Fury, Joshua, Dubois were not green or pre prime during the fights in question. If I had brought up the first McDermott fight that would be more comparable to the examples you cited.

Moreover there is the issue of common sense. If Fury Joshua and the like are performing badly by cruiserweight standards than a number of cruiserweights could potentially beat them. No reason to think Opetaia couldn't improve on Lerena and Cunningham

Ali literally scored one of his greatest wins in his very next fight and it was against one of the biggest punchers in HW boxing history and arguably the most intimidating HW ever.

A 185lb, 22lb lighter Euro level literally dropped Ali like a sack of potatoes in his previous fight

Big bad bear Liston couldn't drop Ali in his next fight but the way lighter Euro level Cooper dropped him like he'd been hit in the face with a cannonball and almost knocked him out

Louis was smack bang in the midst of his prime when he fought the way smaller Conn

Haye was a world amateur silver medalist and regardless of how you try to spin it getting dropped heavily and very nearly KO'd by a SMW journeyman with a KO 30% who was 0-4-1 in their last 5 is ''embarrassing''

Cunningham was literally the first world champion and world level guy Belly ever fought and he didn't even have his trainer in his corner with him because he was denied entry into the US at the last minute. Belly improved after that fight and became more durable too

Cunningham might not have been a big puncher but if you don't think this shot is a big shot I don't know what to say. Because of Belly's upright stance, size and lapse in concentration, hands down by his sides, he was able to land the shot of his life. That was a hell of shot and it had every ounce of Cunningham's power behind it.

Belly should never have beaten Wlad and The Dosser x 2 (3 in reality) by that logic, both of whom are 2 of the most fearsome punchers in HW boxing history and were walking KO machines

Lerena weighed 230lbs vs Dubois and as I warned at the time was powerfully built, explosive and could punch and as I've explained before at least 2 of the KDs Dubois suffered against him were due to him voluntarily taking a knee due to the torn ACL he suffered during the first one

Maybe some other CWs could've beaten AJ, Belly, Dubois but we also know for a fact how few gave Usyk a chance of even winning one belt at HW

He appears to be the only Spence fan boy who didn't jump ship to Crawford. Either way they are all disingenuous a lot of the other Spence fans rubbished Crawford so badly but now are desperate to anoint him P4P king over Usyk as they see him as the lesser of two evils

Yeah honestly to actually earn the right to be even mentioned on the level of Usyk, crawford would have to beat Bivol or Beterbiev at this point. Honestly! Now THAT would be an Usyk type move.

Beating a guy who has already been beaten TWICE officially and two more times unofficially isn’t on Usyk’s level. It’s comical how crawford actually threw himself a ****ing parade afterwards too!! lol :facepalm::lol::lol: Bivol beat Canelo in more impressive fashion!

Usyk moved up and whooped an undefeated Fury who nearly decapitated wilder and ended Wladimir’s decade long reign. Not to mention whooped Joshua who was probably at his career best at the time.

Dude… ‘bud’ actually THREW A PARADE FOR HIMSELF!!! lol :lol::lol: I mean isn’t that insanely cringe and hilarious at the same time!?! A parade… for beating a guy past his best and already lost 4 times before! lol

“B… but BUD was older than Saul doe!!!”

And Hopkins was older than Jones Jr in their rematch!! Why didn’t Roy whoop him like in fight #1??? If AGE is all the sudden the end all be all in determining a prime?!?? :dunno:dunno:dunno

Also I love how people are acting like the matches against Lara and Trout never happened. That mother****er should've had SIX losses heading into the Crawford match. That's some P4P shizzle right there!

Exactly. But beating a past prime Canelo is worthy of a PARADE and bumping Usyk from the #1 spot!! :wanker:wanker

    “BUD is da TROOF!!”

    “BUD is older than Saul!!”

Now age is the end all be all when it comes to comparing primes!

Wasn’t Lewis older than Tyson??? Hopkins older than Jones Jr???

    Sooo many more…

It's only the age when it suits the agenda no other factors come into play "No Excuses you know what I'm saying homie?"

Eh. When you spend years hyping up Spence as some p4p great (though those of us who didn't drink the PBC coolaid always knew that he was overrated and was always in the "good but not great" category) and some guy shows up to outclass and destroy them, recognizing their legitimacy and jumping on their bandwagon is more understandable than spending years trolling and spewing hate on them out of butthurt.
