You can quote those B.S. cliche's to someone who doesn't know anything about the sport and/or what goes on inside the ring so that you sound like a genius.

Facts about this straight right that you speak of:

    1. That would require the orthodox fighter to have footwork and not allow the southpaw to have his lead foot (Left Foot) outside of his lead foot (Right Foot).

    2. Wilder doesn't have a straight right hand.... He has a wild right HOOK that he has ZERO idea on how to set it up. He simply throws it like a hail Mary pass in football. If it lands, yes, it could do damage, but when it misses, or lands without significant damage, Wilder has no back up plan.

Usyk is not one of those C level fighters that Wilder built his career and reputation with. Usyk, you are going to have more than one trick to have a chance. On top of that......Wilder isn't some 30 year old who is still fresh and riding the "Bomb Squad" wave..... He is a 40 year old who's been dropped 5x and stopped 3x since the pandemic with the most recent being the most brutal in which Zhang punched that man into a 360 degree turn.

All your ranting aside, best punch against a southpaw is still a straight right hand.

    And Usyk is a southpaw.

And Wilder has always had a great straight right hand.

How far would Usyk fall in the all-time ratings around here with a KO loss to a 40-year-old Wilder?

Sounds like pretty far, considering how low you rate Wilder. He'd just be one of those "C-Level" fighters Wilder stopped, I guess?

Aww, I see you are one of those posters who rely on emotions over reality and facts.

Please name a world champion Wilder's right hand proved greatness on? Stiverne? What you gonna say Fury? The guy who got up and outboxed Wilder the remaining minutes of the rounds he was knocked down in.

Wilder's right hand made huge statements over lower level opposition. That same right hand vs ranked opponents is not so elite regardless of your love fest for it. I explained the obvious reasons for that but you got your panties in a bunch over me pointing out the obvious.

To answer the question, it SHOULD be a huge knock on his legacy, but, at least on this board, it won't be. Usyk is only second to Jesus on this board.......they'd find some way to spin it to make it a respectable loss.

But none of that matters because Wilder IS NOT going to beat Usyk.....Period.

Wilder needs to retire already. He can’t punch anymore.

If he keeps his downward slope he'll be getting KO'd by Jake Paul by next year

He's lost his base and explosiveness which means his power is also pretty much gone and that's the only trick that pony had.

It's sad to watch...It's like if Fury or Usyk lost their legs which they are declining on slowly.

The question is as meaningful as "How far would Usyk fall with a KO loss to a 60-year-old Mike Tyson".

Yes, if Usyk gets KOed by Tyson, he falls pretty low, it's true. But:
    a) Usyk won't fight Tyson
    b) Even if Usyk did fight Tyson, he's not getting hit by his right hand.
    c) Even if Usyk got hit by Tyson's right hand somehow, he isn't getting KOed.

You can replace Tyson with Wilder - literally nothing would change.
