They are supposed to give 50% of the profit back, but lo and behold, shortly after signing the contract they revised down how much profit they could get...

This was all after they got huge fines in the UK for breaking regulations and laws.

New Zealanders are just too used to do everything in good faith. Just look at Parker as example, being taken on a ride with his title shot, was "promised" a big fight by Warren earlier in the year and the best he got for him is Wardley, no offense, its a decent fight, but its not Usyk, Dubois, Joshua, or probably even a Chisora level event.

It's better than a Chisora event

And at least it sets up the winner for a potential biggie

Wardley for sure has a punchers chance, but his power and ability are being somewhat overestimated imho. Huni took a few solid shots in the fight from Wardley and is known for having a glass chin - stopping guys who are domestic level or skilled but fragile is a bit different to stopping someone who has already beaten fighters who are more skilled, and AT LEAST as big punchers.

Zhang maybe slow moving, but he's got a fast punch, more power in both hands, and most importantly - way more skill than Wardley. People keep saying Zhang put Parker down, sure. Flash knock downs that Parker was up from immediately, from a guy who has beaten multiple world level guys, and has far more skill than Wardley. It's not a risk free fight for Parker, but unless Wardley levels up significantly in one fight this should be a good way to dust off the cobwebs for Parker - maybe a couple of frights and reality checks before getting in the rhythm and getting a clear decision or late stoppage.

My only concern at all for Parker in this is we've not seen him do more than two rounds in this "bulked up" era, while a lot of people seem to be underestimating how strong he is now - I kindof have to give benefit of the doubt that Lockhart etc know what they're doing and Parker really will have his gastank still, because usually such a weight gain comes at a cost. If he hasn't got the tank then it could get dangerous.

The more I think about this fight I can see Wardley winning. Although Parker is the all around better fighter Wardley is on the rise. Parker is also better than Huni but it wasn't just Huni's boxing skills that were troubling Wardley it was mainly his speed his hands are so quick for a heavyweight he is quicker than Parker.
I am still officially picking Parker to win but an upset would not shock me.

Wardley is not to be underestimated, he’s someone who’s proven he can find a way to win even when the chips are down. Parker has to fight perfect for 12 rounds or KO him. I know he got up twice against Zhang and it sounds crazy to say but I think Wardley might hit even harder than Zhang with his overhand.

By how much Parker is talking about the food he is going to eat after the fight, I reckon they are aiming to bring him in lighter, since he sounds hungry.

I reckon around 255lbs, and anyway I reckon his team know what they are doing re stamina and endurance. In his camp for Dubois they said he was doing 10kms in ~50 minutes and still doing his other training iirc. Which is pretty good for a guy who is 120+kgs.

And yeah the Wardley punch on Huni, who doesn't have the best chin, caught him while he was coming in. It's not like Wilder power. And Parker has a decent chin and recovery, I still can't believe he got up after that Whyte he left hook, especially as he was already concussed from the headbutt.

I think Parker wins this, similar to the Wilder and Zhang fights, as long as he doesn't get clipped. And even if he does, I still think he wins. Parker reminds me of Fury in the same way that, I'd class him as pretty chinny, considering he gets dropped quite often, but he has brilliant powers of recovery, which is crucial. The total opposite of someone like say, Joshua, who doesn't get dropped that often, but when he does, it's often over from that point as he just can't recover, mentally or physically. To KO Parker you really have to beat the snot out of him, like Joyce did. Parker took a brutal beating that night, hard to watch, and that was only because Parker fought the wrong game plan and tried to trade, which against Joyce, is madness. I think Parker's learnt massively from that fight and knows what he has to do to beat these heavy-handed guys. I just can't see Wardley winning this, unless he truly has godly power, greater than any of us even realised. The only way Wardley can win is if Parker comes in with the wrong gameplan and fancies a tear-up, but I'm pretty sure Parker and his team are too smart to do that.

Hope Paker KOs Wardley in spectacular fashion while yelling out "This one's from Justis!!"

I see this a bit like the Bakole fight

Real aggression from Parker, but in an "intelligent" way.

    Thus an early KO

Starting to change my mind on this fight. I thought Wardley was going to deliver a punch from the Gods, but Parker has fought and beaten much bigger punchers than Wardley. He's too crude, and if Parker is switched on, I think he could obliterate Wardley and finish him early. I've got nothing against Wardley, but I hope Joe does do a serious job on him so the boxing world can be reminded once again just how much he's getting ****ed over by the powers that be. If I had to put a bet on now, I'd go for Parker in the first 6.

Wardley can only win via KO. I don’t think any sane person thinks he can outbox Parker. Even my Uber driver today agrees (true story). Parker could win either way.

Parker is a heavy favorite. Wardley? Sure. He’s got big power. He could KO Parker. But it’s unlikely.

    looking forward to it.

Parker is most likely the hardest puncher Wardley has faced also. Sure he's sparred guys but its different in an actual fight.

Wardley has several openings and bad habits in his game, he tends to lean back and duck to his right when under fire as an example. And that's basic things a layman like me can see. I'm sure Parker and team can see it a lot more clearly than I can.

I see Parker taking a couple rounds to get the measure of Wardley before catching him with a punch that Wardley doesn't see coming and that being the beginning of the end.
