Mak is a massive puncher no matter how you try and spin it

To be fair, Ajagba barely beat Guido it was razor-close and Guido hurt him

    Yes.

Tyson Fury has a craven streak - he avoided the rematch with Klitschko, and delayed fighting Usyk for nearly two years, and now he's ducking Joshua.

Say what you will about Makhmudov, yes he has limited skill and is vulnerable to body punches, but at least he's not a coward.
Makhmudov KOed Rice, not an easy thing to do.

I don’t know enough about Makhmudov. But AJ, Usyk, and Crawford have all taken excellent care of themselves. Late 30s for guys like that, with modern recovery tech, isn’t what it used to be.

Dave said on a recent podcast with The Cobra that he'd like to fight AJ if he beats old Twitchy Neck.

I like this fight for AJ regardless of the power coming back. AJ has his own power. I always felt its the smaller guys that give him fits, Ruiz, Usyk, Povetkin, even Takam. I think theres most definitely some match ups he really doesnt need at this stage of his career right now but Arslanbek isnt one of them.

The only good big HW Joshua fought for a long time was 41 Wlad, who was easily his hardest win. Breazeale took him 7, 39 Helenius took him 7. Dubois is 6'4, 250 and handed Joshua his most one-sided defeat.

Fury and Wilder were seen as very high risks fights, though they never materialised. And team Joshua could have fought big punching SHW David Price in a high profile domestic world title fight (even billed as a grudge match due to Price's 2011 KO of Joshua in sparring), instead of the unknown Eric Molina they opted for.

Joshua has a moment of courage as he expects the fight won't happen...

Easy KO win for Joshua. I predict 4 rounds at most.
Makhmudov is and has always been overrated.

If everyone remains true to their word, it's Joshua-Makhmudov in early 2026.

After watching that. My KO prediction went down by a few rounds...

Joshua wins by R2, likely R1
