Me too I think it gets forgotten that Dave had a serious gambling addiction that massively affected his career, when people say that he could have done this or that if he applied himself don’t give him the credit for sorting himself out, the lad had a serious problem.
In many ways gambling is the worst addiction, it’s not visible and you can get into trouble fast.
So if anyone thinks he could achieved more then you should know that his biggest fight wasn’t in the ring.

But of course no warning from the Brit referee because well you know there are no corrupt Brit refs or judges; that only happens in the US.

Champ's Adeleye now isn't he? Allen Adeleye is a really fun fight. Both hard hitting durable guys - clear heel/face narrative. It'd be a banger.

 

The fight went somewhat as expected. Mak was never going to crack that chin since the only one who has genuinely managed to do that is Usyk.

I do think pre-neutered Mak (before Kabayel) would have easily forced a British stoppage especially with Steve Gray as the referee.
