7 years later Usyk has now proven he is on the same level as Mayweather.

I wont say Usyk is better than Floyd, but speaking p4p, Mayweather rarely fought people with dimensional advantages on him (height & reach) even at welterweight, most of his opponents were former 140lbers.

Usyk is beating guys not just 30, 40, 50lbs heavier than him, but fighters with significant reach and height advantages on him as well on top of it.

Well Usyk. By far. ESPECIALLY since you used the word FIGHTER. Someone that beats all the world class boxers in their own backyards then takes a break from the sport to fight in his country in the war is the epitome of fighter.

How many belts has mayweather won in opponents backyards with actual neutral judges??? And if US were invaded how many actually think he would have to be persuaded to leave the front lines to go resume boxing to represent his country???

    :lol::lol::lol:

It's still Mayweather nothing has changed.

    World title wins.

Mayweather has won twice as many world title fights.

    Mayweather at 26.

    Usyk at 13.

Wins vs top 10 P4P fighters.

    Mayweather beat 6 or 7 ? Top 10 P4P fighters.

    Usyk has beaten 0.

    Resume

    Mayweather has a better resume.

    Mayweathers best wins

    Pacquiao
    ODLH
    Canelo
    JMM
    Hatton
    Cotto
    Corrales
    Castillo x2
    Mosley
    Maidana x2
    G.Hernandez
    Gatti
    Judah
    Berto
    Ortiz
    Guerrero
    Manfredy

    Usyk's best wins

    Fury x2
    Joshua x2
    Dubois x2
    Chisora
    Briedis
    Gassiev
    Hunter
    Bellew
    Glowacki
    Huck

It's Mayweather by a considerable margin people just don't like Mayweather which is fine he's not the most likeable person but they let that cloud their judgement.

@Dynamicpuncher I like many have Usyk over Mayweather.

You sound really sensitive over the subject.

But as the poll results clearly show it's definitely not a foregone conclusion like you're desperately trying to claim.

Whilst deliberately ignoring facts such as Usyk turning pro about 7 years older than Floyd and fighting in a division where they usually don't ever be in p4p lists . And Usyk being undisputed in two divisions, and Mayweather being undisputed in zero. Usyk winning a world title in just his 10th fight, Mayweather was in his 17th fight. And so on.

Mayweather. Ask Usyk. Bet he agrees.

The term is a little skeptical but I thought Greb was your P4P GOAT?

I agree Mayweather's achievements/wins are still better but I think the argument of Uysk fighting as a B side and overcoming such huge physical disadvantages when he wasn't expected to does make it closer than the above suggests.

But on the flip side Mayweather has fought considerably more fighters who are considered great or hall of fame worthy.

And I think in general the lower weightclasses have more talented skillful fighters on average.

So whilst Usyk's achievements for beating good skilled big men is to be admired.

I still think Mayweathers overall quality of opposition is considerably better IMO.

Since when has undisputed mattered? Floyd was universally considered the best at 130, 135, 147. He beat more ranked opponents at 130 than Usyk did at cruiserweight and more at 147 than Usyk did at heavyweight.

I'll be real. They're both GOATs. But you've got to go for Usyk haven't you? I mean how could you not?

He didn't even take up the sport until he was 15 y/o, whereas, conversely, Floyd was raised and groomed from the crib by world champions and world level contenders to be a champ.

Usyk is an athletic phenom. Imagine what a 150lb version of him would look like if you shrunk him down considering how fast, agile, fluid, coordinated and how high volume he is weighing 200-220 + pounds, and I mean the prime version. He's like a HW ballerino/giant mongoose hybrid

CW Usyk threw more punches than Floyd did at 147. Maybe even the HW version

And obviously he's got the iron chin, the skills, the high ring IQ and he actually wins via the application of pure clean skill, no running, holding, ducking below waist level, deck-stacking, trying to weaken or cripple opponents at the negotiating table, and no ageing them out or ducking, refusing to ever travel

And everything he's achieved has been achieved on a deck stacked against him in his opponent's backyards, or on the road (both amateur and pro), and very often as the B-side

    Olympic gold
    World Amateur gold
    European gold
    WSB winner
    Undisputed CW champ
    Undisputed HW champ x 2
    Oldest ever undisputed HW champ
2nd oldest ever unified HW champ
5th oldest HW champ ever, will be the 4th oldest come late January
2 x Fighter of the Year
    Longest staredown ever

The guy who has won more titles, jumped more weight classes, beaten more HOF fighters, and has twice as much fights. I'm a bigger fan of Usyk over Mayweather but this is a huge no brainer. Mayweather and quite clearly.

Usyk's resume is all killer no filler. Floyds was all done carefully by the watch.

Of course Usyk's not going to have as many wins on paper as your American heroes who turned pro's as teenagers and fought a bum a month. Usyk turned pro late and went straight for the best fighers and biggest punchers, and beat them all in their backyards. Usyk had cojones we never saw in Floyd.

Anyone who knows boxing, knows how super special Usyk is. He defines greatness in every way. A genius boxer, with the highest Ring IQ possible who's won literally everything there is to win, pro and amateur.

People recently love to try to discredit what Usyk has done. But go back in their post history and look what they were saying years ago, it's highly likely they were saying Usyk has no chance at Heavyweight, that he was too small for heavyweight, that he'd have no chance against Joshua and Fury.
