This would be a fine matchup.

How do you think it would go? Would Terence Crawford be willing to face a prime top fighter like Ennis?

Boots needs to move up to 168 for Crawford. He'll be at his strongest at that weight

Could happpen, but I feel like all this talk about Boot’s at 168 is unnecessary. Ennis is about the size of an average middleweight. His physical attributes should be enough to beat Crawford at this point.

At 168 he'll be as strong as possible. Without cutting weight he's about 168lb, so yes he's the size of an average middleweight who typically rehydrate 10 pounds. Janibek is an enormous middleweight. He's bigger than Bivol

I'd confidently back the Crawford that beat Canelo to decision Ennis. Simply more proven.

I could see Ennis posing some stylistic challenges though. I can't see this fight happening unless Turki offers Crawford $100 million at least.

I think that the ship has sailed on a Crawford Ennis fight.

Super Boots via KO, especially if it was a 154. I said it then, I'm saying it now. Whilst Crawford is indeed far more accomplished and proven, and has a better resume, he's barely fought any KO artists or legit punchers, especially ones his size, never fought anyone who could match him for reach, and he's barely fought anyone who was athletically gifted, let alone an athletic phenom with blazing fast hands, vicious KO power in either hand, and the offense and punch variety of Super Boots.

He's fought tons of short reach or shorter reach unathletic plodders and featherfists and average punchers at best. The closest thing to an athletic phenom he's fought is leprechaun Gamboa who was way smaller than him, was conceding 9'' in reach, and had no right being up at 135.

Actually, tell a lie Madrimov is very athletic. But, again, he has a way shorter reach than Crawford, was making a huge leap up in class and only had 11 pro fights of experience, and he's not fast athletic

Mean Machine had quick hands, could put shots together well, and was a legit banger

So we have Gamboa, Madrimov, and Mean Machine

Gamboa hurt him badly, Madrimov arguably beat him, and Mean Machine dropped him. Super Boots is like all three rolled into one but with a 74'' reach

Now you can make the exact same argument about Super Boots but Super Boots is faster and more athletically gifted than Crawford and he will put Crawford's chin to the test like never before. Crawford will not be able to fight at his range like he usually does because Super Boots will be able to clock him from that range too only with shots which are coming thick and fast from all angles.

Boots isn't beating Crawford at any division. Boots looks damn good, most of the time vs the level of competition he's cherry picked to get in the ring with. I find it hilarious that he is so well respected on this board, but on the flip side, y'all ridicule Crawford's entire career and accomplishments.

Boots has used Crawford's name to promote himself for 4/5 years now. If he isn't talking about Crawford, then he's lying about some other fighter refusing to fight him. He's been caught in this lie way too many times. Even with Crawford who was in his city doing a podcast interview and he called him on it. Boots was also offered the Crawford fight twice officially and once unofficial and his camp turned it down stating loyalty to Showtime.....lol. Ironic because Crawford was a free agent when the official offers happened. AND Crawford's very next fight vs Spence happened on SHOWTIME. Bozy confirmed that they did in fact turn down the offers.

Ennis keeps beating on these unranked C level fighters proving to the ignorant that he is the best in the sport..... Crawford moved up and challenged title holders....... Ennis asked for a couple tune up fights just to get in vs a man who's never held a world title himself (Vergil Ortiz).

Dude is not elite. Otherwise he'd of shown it vs top level competition at this point

Crawford would win but he's got nothing left to prove. So it won't happen.
