I don't think Crawford has beaten anyone I wouldn't pick Super Boots to beat. I think the fighters who caused Crawford the most issues could do the same to Super Boots. Mean Machine can crack and I could see him catching Super Boots and dropping him too.

Madrimov is athletic and can crack and that one could be a very close affair

Super Boots would've iced Spence early and that badly faded version of Clenelo who Crawford beat would get lit up like a Christmas tree vs Super Boots. I could even see him getting stopped by him

Super Boots' defence is a concern and for all his physical gifts and talent it could all come undone vs a big puncher his size who can exploit the holes in his defence

This is why I place importance on beating world class opponents your own size, bigger, or much bigger, who are legit punchers or KO artists your size, bigger or much bigger. It's a different ballgame because your flaws and the mistakes you make can be exploited and punished severely in the blink of an eye.

Could Crawford do that to Super Boots? Sure but by the same token I believe he has what it takes to catch Crawford, hurt him badly and knock him out

I don't think he will fight Super Boots though and we will never see him in with an A level athlete his size who can match him for length and power, let alone speed or being faster than him or even a B level one. The fight should've happened at 147 or at 154

If Boots unified 154, 160 and 168 afterwards the win would become great

Yes but what you're saying is a pipe dream with nothing to back it up.

Ennis's best win is Stanionis and the 154 division is stacked and Ennis hasn't proven himself against killers like that.

I guarantee if Crawford beat Ennis now they'd say Ennis was a hype job who hadn't beaten anyone.

It's called foresight. Nobody from 154-160 besides maybe Janibek is beating this guy.

As a Boots fan, I don't wanna see this fight. Crawford doesn't need this fight and Boots has an abundance of work he needs to do at JMW. Let Boots map out his own destiny against his peers. Crawford ain't a peer.

Lets step on the break and see how he does with current crop of 154 first. Destroying the guy they hand picked for you to look good at, isn't the barometer of greatness.

Yes foresight with 0 A level wins for Ennis so far so suggesting he unifies in 3 different weightclasses when his best win in 35 fights is Stanionis is a bit baffling.

I want to see him fight a relevant name at 154 first before I start going crazy with the hype.

It's the skill, Ennis has it all. The mentality, a good Chin, speed, power, 15 round stamina, can fight from both stances and at all ranges. Resumes don't win fights, remember this

Crawford destroys him in a horrible fight with a brutal stoppage. There are levels to this game. Boots could lose to someone like Madrimov never mind Crawford. Any technically solid fighter who knows how to take a shot will be a problem for Ennis; his defense is almost non-existent, and it'll show when he fights someone who isn't a breathing punching bag. The jury is still out on Boots for me until he looks impressive against a fighter that is anywhere close to his level. He is hugely talented, but I see him coming unstuck against a Madrimov, Bakhram, or Janibek.

Ill go with Crawford, but he is 37, at some point his physical decline will become noticeable and it will start effecting his fight outcomes.

But right now, Ill take a 37 Crawford over a prime Boots.

    Boots is kinda overrated, imo.

Uisma Lima - Front foot face first brawler.
Eimantas Stanionis - Front foot face first brawler.
Karen Chukhadzhianx2 - Cagey versatile unorthodox hybrid out boxer/swarmer.
David Avanesyan - Front foot face first brawler.
Roiman Villa - Front foot face first brawler.
Custio Clayton - Usually a counter puncher, stood right in front of him.
Thomas Dulorme - Fought a front foot face first brawling style.
Sergey Lipinets - Front foot face first brawler.
Chris van Heerden - Featherfisted backfoot counter puncher, but slow footed.
Juan Carlos Abreu - Front foot face first brawler.
Bakhtiyar Eyubov - Front foot face first brawler.

See a pattern here? The one guy that's got a tricky style that didn't stand in front of him, gave him fits and went the distance twice.

Crawford ruthlessly violates him and defecates in his Boots. But Ortiz will end his hype train before that match has a chance to happen.

    This is assumption.

Ennis has not taken a flush punch from a big puncher his own size so we don't know how good his chin actually is.

Ennis has not be in a back and forth really tough fight against an A level opponent so his stamina is still a question mark.

Resumes don't win fights no but beating B and C level fighters doesn't also mean you're going to achieve great things either like you're claiming.

Ennis was hot to fight Crawford until he sparred Canelo and then saw what Bud did to him. Now, he says "I am tired of talking about a fight with Crawford".

Boots will have a very fine career without messing with Crawford. He can do great things in the future without taking Mudhole Stomping 101 from Professor Crawford.
