CST - with all due respect - you have picked against Parker for years.

And thus in recent times, all of those predictions have been wrong

Big Joe too inactive. Wardley takes it. I don't see Wardley falling way behind in this one like he did against Huni either. I think he'll be on the pace from the get-go. I really like the way Wardley has been brought along. He faced good British domestic opposition earlier on in Nathan Gorman & David Adeleye & has then done 13 rounds with world class amateur Frazer Clarke & 10 with Justis Huni. Wardley showed True Grit in eating leather for 9 rounds against Huni & then pulling out the win. He'll take some beating & I'm not sure an inactive Big Joe is the man to do it.

With all due respect I picked against him in the Joyce fight, which he lost, the Chisora fight which he should've lost, and Wilder... which everyone thought he would lose. But I picked him to beat AJ which he probably should've, I also picked him to beat Zhang, Ruiz, Takam, Fa, Hughie and Whyte.

I think this is a mismatch. Parker is so many levels above.

I know this is unpatriotic, but Wardley paying 6/1 to win by KO looks very juicy to me. Joe gets hit by anyone who lets his hands go, and he can’t wear a shot like he used to.

Parker, comfortable UD or possible later stoppage - he just has too many tools in his arsenal, if he's willing to use them.

Wardley isn't terrible, but he's got a lot more to prove.

CST - From memory you picked against Parker in 2 of his last 3 fights

All of which he won handily

And is about to do so again.

One day perhaps you will admit that Parker has truly revolutionized his game as a fighter.

I have no idea what it would take for you to admit that.

Can see Parker looking a level above for most of the fight and then getting caught and stopped.

There is a lot more hype with Itauma now than Wardley ever had.

I think both men are part of the good guys of boxing, so any which result will sit well with me, as long as the fight and judging is fair. Parker is more skilled and has the edge in speed, as well as respectable power and a good chin, but his flaw is a lack of focus and intensity which leads to him being clipped (for example Vs Whyte and Zhang), or outhustled (Chisora I and Joyce, and Fa and Cojanu which had no business going the distance). If Parker is switched on for the full twelve then he should win, but that is a big if and Wardley has the power to punish Parker for lapses in focus. I would make Parker the slight favourite, but I would be no way surprised if Wardley clocks him.

Yes - the Fa fight and the Joyce fight were the ones that forced Parker to completely change tack.

To me you can clearly see quite a huge revolution in Parker since that time

I'm glad to see more people picking Wardley than when this fight was first announced, it just doesn't feel right to see Parker as such a big favourite, especially against another contender/top 10 fighter.

Also Parker has said he will meet Wardley in the middle and trade, not sure that sounds like a good plan to me, but maybe he was just playing mind games.

Wardley is pretty durable and tough. I sense Wardley has a really good chin even if he might get out-boxed pretty heavily but I think he will hang on there for long enough.

Feel like ppl are overrating wardleys power a bit and not putting into perspective the skill gap between them. Parker can and will land on wardley and he defo hits harder than huni. Parker Ko by round 6

If wardley wins this and instantly gets his shot against usyk it would be ridiculous. No matter how it happens. You can't have multiple guys waiting and then some new guy swoops in and gets the first shot. But in general, i wouldn't be surprised either.

Though i don't think wardley is big enough a draw to get the fight over guys like fury or joshua if they want it?
