One thing is for sure, probably not the fans  Would be a TON of feints with some action between a lot of lulls IMO. Would probably go with Byrd though.

This would have been really interesting to see considering that RJJ never fought anyone that was bigger, and had an elusive southpaw style with quick hands like Byrd. Chris Byrd was a really underrated fighter with nice pure boxing skills even if he wasn't always the most entertaining to watch. I think RJJ edges Byrd with his greater offense in a dull fight.

Jones would win. Byrd was good against tentative plodders. His speed advantage disappears against Roy. He has nothing to trouble Jones. At Hevyweight Jones wins by decision. If Byrd came down in weight, he might get stopped.

Byrd and its not a debate.

Vitali, Tua or Holy would have murdered Jones, PEDs or no PEDs.

I was actually at Byrd’s last fight where he weight drained himself to 168 or 175..

Holyfield was shot tbh. Jones had a good chance against that version, we know Toney pulled it off

You can have Holy. Tua and Vitali would have murdered Jones, and everyone knows that.

The Ukrainian moron would have found a way to lose just like he did versus Byrd and Lewis. My prediction for RJ vs VK would be a stoppage win for RJ after VK twists a knee. Didn't your guy also murder Kevin Johnson or did they just murder the crowd in attendance that night?

Yeah but it's a different type of fight. Byrd relied on his speed and slickness to beat bigger dudes. Is that going to help him vs Roy? He is outsped badly.

This was actually a winnable fight for Roy after he beat Ruiz. As others have said would have been extremely boring regardless of who won.

Think I will go Byrd as the more proven heavyweight. He had a busy style and is light years away from John frickin Ruiz in terms of speed and skill.

The lower the weight the more Roy should be favoured.
