Zhang could well be all wrong for Chisora,it will not be easy at all for Chisora to try and make it through the first six rounds,Chisora is far too easy to hit at this point. I’m wanting Chisora to win should the fight actually happen but I have to say surely there are easier options out there for his final bow out fight !

    Im up for this one.

Zhang obvious favorite but dont count Chisora out here... this exactly the type of fight and fighter he might be able to exploit.

    Nice fight.

Zhang melts him early, Chisora is not hard to find in the ring and is gonna be cannon fodder. There hasn't been any guys that haven't been able to tee off on Chisora, he just weathers **** until he can't. I will say if somehow Zhang doesn't get rid of him, he's gonna fall apart and get pummeled by round 8ish. Personally I don't think Chisora stands up to it.

It'll be all kinds of action.............until it ends

It isn't worth discussing until Chisora signs the contract.

I've no idea why he gets such love from Brit fans. He's been nothing but a punching bag for years.

Agree with this. Nobody can say Chisora hasn't fought anyone and everyone but he's gonna be pretty choosy for his last fight... he wants the perfect ending. He doesn't want a fight he knows he can get KO'd in, not without a major belt on the line anyhow. I'm a big fan, so I wouldn't want to see that happen either to be honest. I actually think Chisora vs. Allen would be a perfect farewell fight for both. Plus it would sell out a British arena, as both guys despite never being world level, have got big cult followings. If not Allen, I think Ortiz could also be a good double farewell type of fight. Ruiz could also be a cracker. I really wanted to see the trilogy with Whyte for years, but after that Itauma fight, I don't think Whyte's heart is in it anymore. Whereas Chisora's very much is.

Beating a post-zhang Joyce in a 10 rounder (that was originally announced as a 12 rounder but was changed assuming by chisora's request) and completely exposing otto wallin are actually great end of career achivements that help cement derek's legacy as a great gatekeeper but sadly i reckon this fight is a step too far for the state derek is at in his career now.

Zhang has landed on fighters way more defensively sound than chisora and i can see chisora eating some brutal shots sadly. Although Zhang's gas tank is pretty awful I can't say chisora's is all that good at this point either if this goes past 6 rounds both men will be struggling with neither having the upperhand it going into the later rounds.

Either way chisora will bring what he always does and will be down to brawl. if this does happen, I'll be excited to watch.

Because he's willing to fight everyone is normally in exciting fights and he's also a bit bonkers and us Brits like an eccentric personality.

Chisora vs Whyte/Takam/Joyce were FOTY candidates.

He's been unlucky losing a few close controversial decisions that could've gone his way Parker 1, Whyte 1, Helenius, etc.

Apart from Fury and Haye no one has had an easy time with Chisora. And he normally gives good value for money against top Heavyweights so whatever he chooses to do I'll tune in to watch him fight.

Ok, but surely he's past his due by date and from now on only gets more punishment. He's already talking a bit dodgey.

Chisora's cognitive decline is obvious and his body is old as well. He'd be lucky to make it to the 4th, and it wouldn't surprise if he gets stopped in the first.

Some similarities in this match up to Mak vs Allen

Chisora, like Allen, shorter thick-set hooker with a great chin and Big Bang, like Mak, a taller savage punching man mountain

Both Big Bang and Chisora obviously old and past their primes though and a higher level than Mak and Allen

A great fight how? Are you people wanting to see Chisora completely brain dead more than he is already? He’s going to lay on the ropes, with his horrific balance (he nearly tripped over his own feet on the way to the ring against Wallin) and get bludgeoned by the big China man. Stopped in 4 rounds and brutally. Chisora should be looking at a Dave Allen level opponent for his own safety here, get a nice pay day and a win to go out on, rather than permanent disability.

Vitali K too. But yeah, Chisora is usually good value for money. I do agree with the OP, though; he's very unlikeable and has come out with some horrible things in the past. The adulation he gets is far beyond his ability.
