Evan had a more complete, fundamentally better skillset than Ali.

Ali was faster, sharper, better reflex and coordination, taller and likely stronger where it counts but Ali beats him on speed and adaptation, not primarily on superior skillset IMO.

Ali doesn't stop ****. He's the most overrated boxer in history.

You might find that by definition the apparent reality that for every Ali worshipper, there's a you who thinks he's horribly overrated, it probably balances out a little.

You might find that Floyd Mayweather elevated to the absolute greatest boxer of all times is more overrated than Ali, who, whilst many consider the greatest HW, you'll struggle to find many that consider him to be the greatest boxer.

Heck, for a man with a 2/3 year prime, some might call Kid Dynamite incredibly overrated, given the upper echelons that he was placed at before we got to see some of his fragilities play out on PPV.

Let me guess: Tyson is the only boxer that could defeat prime Ali? LOL You all know Holyfield is superior to Tyson. Or are you ignorant about it? I expect so.

I don't think it balances out. There are too many Ali fanboys out there who are completely clueless about boxing.

Very few put Mayweather as the GOAT. Whilst he has a good claim at being the most skilled, IMO he lacks the career and impact on the sport to be considered the GOAT. I rank him between 6 and 10 all time, same as Pacquiao.

On the contrary. Most clueless casuals consider him the GOAT overall.

    He's not.

    Deservedly.

There were no fragilities. He had turmoils in his personal life that heavily affected his boxing career.

Louis, Holyfield, Wlad, Lennox, Frazier, Tyson, Norton, Holmes, Vitali, Usyk… they’re all good odd picks for doing the job IMO. Could Ali beat them all some of the time in real life? Yes, could they do the same? Yes.

Ali’s key to victory in this really is the jab but how Holyfield imposes himself inside I don’t think that’s a fight Ali was ready for in the 60s. I rate 70s Ali’s chances highly.
