As time goes by and the heavyweight s get bigger, especially the more skilled ones,it looks an incredibly hard job for Joe to get in there and take over.
Tho he'd definitely give it his best!

Trouble is Ferg at a certain comical point when the size becomes too much a Lennox could just neutralise Frazier by leaning in the second he gets close, it just limits JF far too much likewise with Rock Marciano…

    I know, it's that gap.
It' gets bigger as time goes by , that size difference.
It's like asking if Bob Fitz beats Wlad or Fury, the size he was as heavy weight champ.

I've always thought that if Frazier fought peak Tyson with FOTC conditioning combined with that "win or die" warrior mindset he could survive Mike's early blitz and win a brutal war of attrition. BUT, Joe would HAVE to have be the "FOTC" Frazier to have a chance against him.

Liston would make short work of Joe a la' Foreman.

Lewis would win if he came into the fight in top shape and mentally focused.

I think Bowe also could defeat Joe if he came into the fight in top shape and mentally focused--(but the odds of Bowe NOT coming into the fight properly prepared are at least even money!!)

Tyson, Lewis, Bowe and Liston. All can out-punch him with ease.
