Claudia Trejos has officially revealed the date for the WBC Grand Prix finals:

    December 20th.

I'm relieved they've got it already locked in... after the Quarterfinals in August they made us wait nearly a month to find out today's date for the Semis.

KG still could be a force at cruiser or Bridger.

KCR is 10-0-2 (4), and can technically say he's defeated every man he's shared the ring with. Sort of. :sisi1

His first draw, with Iván Gabriel "El Pequeño Hulk" García, he later avenged ...and his second was in his last outing, the previous round of this very tournament, with Piotr Łącz in the Quarterfinals. Under the WBC's modified "extended scoring" rules he was awarded the victory to advance...but on his record it's still officially a draw.

    Round 1 Ramirez 10-8

**** yes! Ramirez puts him down with a clean straight right in the first 30 seconds! That pissed Stone off, Ramirez still quite elusive. Stone pushes him down. Another right from Ramirez and another.

Believe it or not, this (261.7lbs) is svelte for Stone. He was 314¼lbs in his pro debut...nearly a hundred pounds more than his opponent!

He has shed 52.5lb - half a strawweight - since!

Ramirez looks like he could easily be a light heavyweight. He is winning this though yeah? Be funny to see the size disparity between him and Krnjić.

    Round 1 Ramirez 10-8
    Round 2 Ramirez 10-9, close

Ramirez dancing around, peppering him with one twos. Stone getting his jab on track. Ramirez with another clean right. Stone with a left. Ramirez jabbing better. Nasty right from Ramirez. Stone pushes him down again. Cleaner work from Ramirez.

    WBC five judge open scoring:

    19-18 x5 to Ramírez

Interesting, the judges were unanimous for Stone in the second.

    Round 3 Ramirez 10-9

Brutal right from Ramirez early again. Gets in close, looping in compact hooks. Ramirez going to the body. One two from Ramirez. They trade hooks. Ramirez to the body, looping overhand right. Stone's mouth is agape, Ramirez with another right. Stone missing a lot. Heavy right up top and to the body from Ramirez.

    Ramirez clearly wins round 3.

Commentators seem to be rooting for Stone, giving him more credit than he's earned in there.
