Who are the heavyweight contenders who fought the most amount of high quality opponents? A contender is anyone who did not hold one of the four major belts at heavyweight: WBO, WBA, WBC and IBF

2010'S: Derek Chisora - fought Fury x 3 times, Usyk, Parker x 2, Whyte, etc.

2000's: David Tua - fought Lewis, Ibeabuchi, Byrd, Ruiz, Rahman, Maskaev

1990's: I have to think long and hard for this one.

    1970s . Jerry Quarry - fought Frazier x 2, Ali x 2, Norton, Lyle, Shavers, Patterson etc.

    1920's : Harry Wills

    1910's: Sam Langford

    1890's: Peter Jackson

Have to think long and hard for the rest.

For the 90's, Ruddock or Alex Stewart have a good shot.
For the 80's Ribalta or Tillis.

If we're talking strictly heavyweight careers, what about Archie Moore?

And George Chuvalo is not too shabby either :)
    - 2x Ali (60s / 70s), Frazier, Foreman, Patterson, Ellis, Quarry, Bonavena, Folley, Williams, Terrell, Baker, 3x Cleroux, Mathis, Jones, DeJohn....

    Hi Buddy.
Very good listings, as for the 70s you might want to throw in George " Scrap iron " Johnson, you ready...
Quarry, Lincoln, Spencer, Clark, Ramos, Bobick, LeDoux, Machen, Frazier, Liston, Foreman, Lyle, Bugner, Kirkman, he didn't win many, but what the heck.
    stay safe buddy, chat soon.
    Mike.

Not a contender, but Everett “Bigfoot” Martin fought these guys:

    Bert Cooper
    Johnny Du Plooy
    Dwight Muhammad Qawi
    George Foreman
    Pierre Coetzer
    Francesco Damiani
    Bonecrusher Smith
    Michael Moorer
    Riddick Bowe
    Tim Witherspoon
    Tony Tucker
    Larry Holmes
    Herbie Hide
    Tony Tubbs

    IN A ROW

That’s his ledger from June 1988 through February 1994. He beat only Cooper and Witherspoon of the above but was only stopped by Smith, Bowe, Damiani and Du Plooy.

    He also fought:

    Lance Whitaker
    Wlad Klitschko x2
    Danell Nicholson
    Lamon Brewster
    Fres Oquendo
    Obed Sullivan
    Ruslan Chagaev
