So now that Usyk has closed the door, will Fury fight Joshua? Or come back at all?

I'd prefer to see Parker over another fury fight

I believe Warren flat-out said that Fury wants to come back, now. I agree I have not heard it from Fury.

I'm sure Fury would like to come back, doesn't mean he has any serious plans to.

Usyk Fury is a bad fight to make. Uysk wins people will ask why it even took place. Fury wins the division is in a mess and will go nowhere for a year.

So glad a meaningless third fight with the 0-2 Fury wont be happening.

Fury can either fight AJ, DD, or retire... dont care to see him do anything else.

Usyk should retire too but since we already know he wont, a Parker fight is decent and better than a third schooling of Fury.

Best thing would be if the parker/wardley winner fought kabayel.

We all know Usyk is by far the best in the division and doesn't have equal challengers apart from his own age deterioration. That's not the narrative/context that makes for great excitement. Personally I would be interested in how Usyk managed Kabayel's pressure, but I expect Usyk to do it well.

So the best everyone can hope for is competitive matchups. With wardley being young and mentally strong and determined, he should be a good opponent for Parker and I like the fight.

But I would be very glad if more of these matchups were being made, Kabayel vs Parker being on top of that list, they are the currently best pair you can find for a 50-50 matchup (i think kabayel wins :)

This is definitely a the winner can't be ignored scenario. It's a pity it's come to this ... but so many hws have faded on the vine waiting around for a deserved shot rather than forcing the issue.

Glorious that Usyk is saying no to the big dosser!

I hope you're right. Fight is past due date, but can still be good.

Yes, Fury and Joshua will fight. Too much money for both to leave on the table

100% Fury vs Joshua happens with a likely rematch and possible trilogy before both retire.

TBF Wilder was always going to push for that rematch and it was always very unlikely to get enforced.

Put that together with it not happening at any point afterwards and you could be forgiven for cynically wondering whether there truly was any intention to fight...

You appear to be absolutely right about which of them was keenest on making fights - both with the other two, and in general as resume depth makes undeniably obvious.

    Indeed.

Liking the idea of being fit enough to go again is one thing.

Putting in the effort to actually get there is another entirely.
