Could 97 Tua withstand the fury of a young Foreman, tire him out and knock him out in the end?

No, he either gets TKO'd or plods behind his high guard to a decision loss.

More people on this forum need to realize that Tua was a bum compared to an actual top-level fighter.

Foreman’s jab keeps him at bay until Tua gets frisky and then he runs into bombs that detonate and get him out of there … unless Tua is willing to eat a decision loss to stay safe like against Lennox.

Foreman stops him in 7. Tua is too short, too one dimensional & too hittable to beat Foreman. Foreman ate short, aggressive come-foward fighters for breakfast, lunch & dinner.

I chose the last option and thank you for putting a choice on the poll that didn’t demand a definite verdict one way or the other

Foreman lifted Frazier off the ground, so no, Tua might have lasted longer, but he'd have been stopped eventually.

Well you could say that Tua was just as big a puncher as Lyle and also with better handspeed , stamina an chin

TBH Tua would most likely make it to the finish line he had a chin like no one else… Foreman’s could be cracked by Tua, Tua though likely goes into his shell at the end of GF’s jab, if GF sticks to his jab and shoving he will win if he tired to out-fight DT… yes David could win and is the better pick, DT didn’t lack courage his issue was his inability to bypass a good jab not because he got gun shy against Lennox IMO.

He didn’t even have a full day of eating he did it to Frazier and Chuvalo lol… breakfast and dinner? Lunch and dinner? How’s he splitting his meals? - Hittable, come-forward, aggressive Lyle did really well going “at” Foreman is a very good choice if you can punch a, had that been a better finisher then Lyle… not such a good choice if you’re an attrition guy like Frazier or Chuvalo haha
