... what happened next will surprise you! "Brutal ko" is the worst kind of clickbait language. No offense, but brutality isn't really what I am invested in the sport for. Also I don't see it that way. Parker didn't showcase great powerful counters. He delivers his power punches when pushing his opponent backwards and when he feels save to do so. With his trainer team I think wardley will be prepared for those moments. So I wouldn't assume an attack of wardley to end in his own getting knocked out. If parker continues what he has been doing the previous fights, he evades wardleys early offense, boxes him and waits for him to get weaker before accelerating his own offense and maybe taking him out if the fight develops in a way that allows parker to do that without too much risk.
Parker stoppage is more than likely. Middle rounds. 4-9. Parker is now in his prime and making a run for the titles. Training camp signaled he is built to make a statement- Parker has everything to gain by getting the KO.
Brilliant video as usual @Rumsfeld I have Parker winning by round 4 stoppage. Andy Lee is a Kronk trainer, they're not here to play for points. There's levels to this sport and we're about to see why. I think Ben Davidson is massively overrated as a trainer as well. People acting like he's some sort of genius because Wardley (who was getting smashed pillar to post for 9 rounds) caught Huni at the 11th hour with a lucky shot? Of course, now that the Rummy curse has been cast I'm probably gonna have to eat a few slices of humble pie come Sunday haha. May the best man win and props to both fighters!
