I'm happy he got on the good stuff or that Zhang bout wouldn't have gone his way. I like Kabayel more.

I never said he wasn't on gear, I reckon he is and was on gear long before this body transformation, meaning the gear has minimal impact on it. This transformation is the result of actually having proper S&C for the first time in his career. It can't be understated how bad Parker's S&C was before George Lockhart got involved.

That is what I mean when I say you are unfamiliar with Pacific Islanders and it shows, it was clear from Parker's career that he was artificially below his best weight, kept there by over training and crash dieting. He is a naturally bigger guy than fighters like Joshua or Fury he just had no clue what he was doing. If Parker had Joshua's S&C programme and support from day 1 he would have been easily ~10lbs heavier and leaner through out his whole career.

Fury has been a 260 pound bear moth his entire life.

Ah, I see what you are doing, you are looking at Parker from the lens of Fury. Yeah Parker is naturally a much bigger build than Fury, Fury is taller but has a much slimmer build, his standout best performance was when he was at ~250lbs.

Fury also had issues with keeping weight off, and would come in pudgy, so you are assuming Parker is the same, but that is not the case.

Also Parker was on gear before the Joyce fight, he has been on at least since he joined the Fury camp prior to the Chisora fights.

You picked both Wilder and Zhang to beat Parker. great track record.

So Parker is 17 pounds heavier at 33 than when he won the title at 24.
Seems about right for the normal progression of a mans physique to me.

With his size, frame and build, 17 pounds really isn't much to spread around.

Funny cos for 10 years I’ve been struggling to explain to people how this concept of Fury and AJ being ‘super heavyweights’ and Parker being a small heavyweight is nonsensical.

Parker’s weight range while in decent shape is heavier than AJ’s. Parker at 260 carries way less body fat than Fury at 260. He is 3-5 inches shorter than these dudes. How do you explain that? He’s built like a brick shithouse and they aren’t. Fury is a gangly chicken legs and Joshua is a tall slim guy who lifts a lot of weights.

Parker looked like a brick shithouse at weigh in.
