Well, Liston could break his ankle on the ring-steps prior to the first bell. Which is his actual best chance of victory.
I despise Liston but I refuse to believe that a 30 lbs belly is all you need to overcome a skill gap like this. Not like Liston is incapable of hurting a guy that got flattened by Haye either. Liston wins this.
Many of Listons opponents were light heavyweights by todays standards Id say Liston by close decision
Cheers. I’ve had ongoing issues with this poster for years (and I’m clearly not the only one, but I’ll leave it at that as I don’t want to add fuel to the fire). I made the decision a long time ago to ignore him completely. Despite his laughable attempts to play the victim, here are examples of him repeatedly insulting me—either directly or indirectly—in attempts to provoke a response: In a deleted post, he accused me of “wanting to lick the sweat off Liston’s fingers to see what Cleveland Williams tastes like.” Even with the repeated baiting and personal insults, I was advised by several people here to ignore him — which I’ve genuinely tried my best to do. He’s fully aware of his behavior toward me, as he once issued what I can only describe as an insincere apology. I’ll have to PM you the rest, as I’m getting dangerously close to crossing into rule-breaking territory by sharing more publicly. Beyond his personal conduct with me, his disrespectful attitude extends to numerous other posters as well. He also has an odd, obsessive hostility toward certain fighters. Given some serious personal issues in my own life right now, I no longer have the patience to quietly tolerate his baiting or his habit of posting disrespectful nonsense about those boxers — and sometimes feel compelled to respond just to set the record straight. For my part, I’ve consistently tried to keep our exchanges rooted in boxing discussions. In our last interaction, I disengaged entirely once I sensed where things were heading: And you’re right — nothing productive ever comes from our exchanges, despite my intent to keep things on-topic. So yes, I’ll be putting him on ignore on my end going forward.
I absolutely stand by what I’ve written and it all made perfect sense. No aggression. No misunderstanding(s). Now, sans any more needless perpetuations/references/replies, I will continue posting happily, exactly as I have been doing. Can’t argue with that. I’ll leave you guys to it. Too easy.
I thought, BCS might say Sonny pulls out on the stairs or in the dressing room, or something akin to that. I was going t move back to the sitting down to sign the contract time
You don't "ignore him completely" though. You post about him instead of quoting him directly. That's just as likely to add fuel to the fire and create endless flame wars. The lengthy posts and quotes and evidence, yeah, i see this a lot. I get it, i've seen it. But the point is, he as you said, has a similar story about you, for all that you will insist it is not accurate (note: so will he). He's on a last warning, and like pugguy, his position is worse than yours because this is the second time i've had this with him. But my strong advice now is that you genuinely ignore him. Don't talk to him. Don't talk about him. I'll be keeping an eye on him and if he remains irritating he'll be removed. That's perfect for me. That's a guarantee i won't have to remove you. But remember avoid talking about him. Just so he doesn't exist.
Or you have to be an exceptional boxer like David Haye and weigh 210 lbs to have a chance. Anything above doesn't work.
And let's not forget David Haye weighed 210 lbs and destroyed chisora with ease. Man, I'm so tired of arguing with all these amateurs who think that weight is all that matters. Not to mention Liston, at 220 lbs, can definitely do 12 rounds or even 15 rounds non-stop Punching without a break and isn't exhausted and gassing for air after just 3 rounds like yesterday Wardley and Parker. 250 ibs is to much for Fighting. Facts.
