Dude that knee had me hyped for a second. Great performance from Umar. Don’t see him beating Merab, but if Merab gets past Yan, it’s worth the rematch if they don’t make the Pantoja Vs Merab fight

 

I would like to see Umar win a fight or two more. I never like when in the UFC a top contender gets another title shot after 1 win. I get it, you are one of the top ranked guys, but at least win a few fights before yo-yo´ing title fights.
It kills a lot of momentum in the division when the same guys get recycled.

And I think Umar could win the rematch against Merab

 

Absolutely baffling how a chick fight is the co-main here, vacant title fight or not.

Pity the Aspinall fight is happening at the same time as the Parker fight.

 

Apsinall vs Gane is scheduled for 60 minutes before Parker vs Wardley, we might get lucky here.

 

honestly that would be great to see, little bit more time to develop physically and in the cage. Merab won’t be around for too much longer though, so times probably running out.

It seems like a fools errand for Pantoja to move up, but it could work to Umars advantage if it happens after that. He’s a special fighter and I’d be shocked if he doesn’t get some UFC gold at some point in his career

It happened, this will turn into a really interesting fight now.
Aspinalls curse is his success thus far. I genuinely doubt that he can go 5 rounds at a sustained pace.
