The very first time I saw Wardley, I can say in truth, I was absolutely sure the guy was an exception. Physically, and especially mentally, the guy is born, designed, for cheerful extreme violence. He's that guy at the centre of the Shield Wall in the dark ages who is genuinely disappointed when the battle gets called off and finds it all fun.

I don’t care if he does. I just want him to stop fighting the same people

Why on earth would Parker come in at 260?

Considering the nature of the fight this stoppage was too early IMO. I'm not a big fan of either fighter but it was a great fight. Parker should've given a chance there.

The stoppage was bull****, but Wardley still fought well and he was better than I expected.

I think he'd have finished Parker anyway as Parker looked done, was no longer throwing back.

It would be a boost to his legacy. Wardley is a novice and no one till give him any credit for the win.

    Terrible, terrible stoppage.

Give it to Wardley he's as hard as nails and his power is legit even at this level. But I feel cheated of a conclusive ending, Parker was ahead but Wardley is always dangerous and had Parker hurt he might have finished it. But with that BS stoppage we'll never know.

Nah, but he's earned the shot, probably.

Imagine the fun Usyk would have with Wardley's terrible shoulder roll attempt.

I think Parker poses slightly more problems with his more scientific boxing based style - but you're right, an Usyk win would be inevitable.

It would be a 116-112 or 117-111 type decision with Parker, and maybe 119-109 or late stoppage against Wardley.

I picked Wardley to win, but that was a bad stoppage. Especially given the context - Parker up on the cards and a back-and-forth fight.

Now we have the most one sided fight for Usyk coming up. Doubt bookies will even bother offering odds
