Disgraceful stoppage. I'm done with British boxing. Throwing punches & not landing doesn't mean anything. Sure wardley was coming on but that's ridiculous

Usyk KO 1 is preferable to USYK UD12 Joshua III, Fury III, Chisora II, or Dubois T/KO III.
****, soon we might have Gassiev in the mix as well.

Parker shouldn't have put himself in that position. He got beat fair and square.

Unless his back touches the ropes and Foster is the ref. And Fabio comes to the ring last like tonight which is called "foreshadowing ".

Credit to Wardley but that was a bad stoppage. Wardley was getting through with good shots but was becoming less and less accurate with each shot, pretty clearly gassing himself out. The final left that got the ref to step in didn't even seem to land fully clean.

Also have to feel bad for Parker. Could've just sat on his position like Kabayel but decided to take a risk and will now probably never get a shot against Usyk. I maintain that he should've been the one to get the shot at Usyk earlier this year, considering it was Dubois that pulled out against him. Happy for Wardley though. Been watching him since early in his career and he's consistently proved to be an entertaining and likable fighter. Unless Usyk ages overnight though, Wardley stands little to no chance against him.

You lot, all of you "kiwis" overrating Parker for donkey's years. He's ****ing hopeless and hasn't knocked out a single live opponent. Can't even put people down. He should also have losses to Ruiz, Fury, and possibly ancient Chisora.

The stoppage was a bit early but has to be put in context, Parker wasn’t defending himself properly at the end of the 10th round, then came out for the 11th and immediately was on the back foot again as if he hadn’t really recovered.

I wasn’t that shocked by the stoppage but that’s probably because I expect the worst.

Tad early but not a bad stoppage imo.

Why parker wouldn't tie him up? Bizarre.

Takeaways - wardley has the makings of a good fighter. But he makes too many mistakes. That bizarre lunging stab jab. Dipping down to the right is fine, but you cant do it all the time, roll under and afterwards and throw a few body shots in. Has to keep his eyes on his opponent. Does a weird reset every so often, likes hes sparring.

Parker. Looked sluggish and wank game plan. No improvisation or adaptation. How many right hands do you want to bump of the opponents shoulder roll?

Even though I'm a big fan of Fabio, and J-Park too, that's the 2nd time Fabio has been awarded a British stoppage in fights he was struggling in and might have gassed. The first was against Michael Coffie

Amazing how far speed, big power, a British chin, self-belief and keeping it simple will take you. Speed and power are always an extremely potent combination

Ben Davison draws a lot of heat but he and his team do their homework and devise good game plans. That being said, he clearly studies Floyd and Floyd clones like Shakur. Stay behind the jab, lots of jabs to the gut, right hand, and lots of holding when caught on the ropes
