Parker should have held. He was clear eyed, just tired. Can't believe a guy with his experience didn't hold.

In heavyweight division a huge punch + insane chin can take you far.

Wardley is special, I keep saying it. No matter what happens, he keeps his composure and looks for openings. He doesn't wait for openings, he looks for them and works to land his power punches.
And he fully believes in his own power.

In terms of skill Wardley is clearly an overachiever as he has pulled two consecutive come from behind victories.

No he didn't. He landed about 6 and missed the rest.

The stoppage was indeed disgraceful, but "coming on" is a colossal understatement. Joe was in extreme trouble. Should have been allowed weather the storm, which I think he would have, but he was NOT ok.

Parker has to nail this **** to the canvas to win

He just has to land a few punches and the ref jumps in I called that 110%

The ref would have picked Wardley up and carried him to the corner if it was the other way around

Not sure that was intelligent, he just needed to show he was still game by throwing a few shots. He didn’t, and the ref stopped it (which the ref shouldn’t have).

Parker should stop fighting in the UK.

Against Joshua the ref was acting like Antony's body guard.

Against Whyte weren't there elbows going in and being scored as knockdowns? Rough fight.

    Now this tonight.

He always gets screwed in this country.

Parker landed nothing back he was done a bit quick yes but Wardley was on his way to stopping Parker regardless.

How come there was a British referee in this fight that’s not fair surely? I honestly think if Howard Foster never stepped in I honestly think Parker would not have gone down.

After the corruption with Howard Foster and early stoppages throughout Froch’s career (lot of accusations of match fixing) liking tweets saying Froch wins round 9, then stopping it that round, he should never be allowed to referee again.

Yeah Parker probably deserves a rematch (was there a clause?) -- but anyway, a great fight!

If there isn't an immediate rematch -- then make Usyk-Wardley happen, Uncle Frank!!

You gotta favour Usyk over Wardley..... Unless he hurts him then Wardley is all of a sudden a different and highly dangerous proposition it seems. Bet Usyk wishes he'd just fought Parker now.

What annoys me about the stoppage is that when you've got a big guy whaling on you, if you don't hold , you can block and weave and throw back occasionally until he's blown his load. Foster doesn't let that sequence of events play out. Twat.
