Based on this and given the way the fight was going, it looks like a draw was a very possible result.

Parker clearly had his senses about him, he clearly dodged the last punch Wardley threw.
Parker had recovered from the earlier onslaught.

Just because you're pregnant there's no need to come in here all hormonal and start posting like a nutter.

Parker was clearly ahead and 2 of those scorecards are way too close.

Hands up I got that one completely wrong, Wardley did more than I thought he was capable of, that was some performance.
His jab that he was flicking from waist height was sharp but his head movement and his Vera Lynn were what really shocked me.

This is a very sharp observation.

He looked absolutely out of it and running on automatic. "Absorbed" about 20 whilst flicking 2 feeble efforts out.

It wasn't the first exchange that looked like that.

I think regardless of if he was going down, feeling groovy, or somewhere in between, a ref observing that is supposed to stop it, no?

Or would we rather he cop a bit of brain damage just so we can all feel satisfied?

Corrupt as sin scumbags like Foster aside, maybe.. just maybe Brit refs allow Brit fighters to take more punishment and not wave it off as quickly because we just so happen to be, as I keep telling you all again and again, the toughest, most iron-jawed fiercest warriors in the world? We're like real man sized Mexican fighters with slickness and power and we won't quit no matter how much or how hard we get hit

Yeah I saw the opportunity for Parker to land back - I figured Wardley was at the tail end of his energy in that attack.

Another reason why Usyk is one of the greatest boxers of all time. Most guys will never fight away from home because of this exact reason. They know guys get robbed constantly. Either on the cards or by a biased/bent ref. Usyk doesn't care. He goes over to your backyard and boxes so beautifully that he can't be robbed.
