Parker always said he would retire young

It could be a long climb now

    And he should consider it

Considering he just got diddled by the BBBofC, if he never fought on British soil again, who could blame him. IMO he should take the Joyce rematch and try and get it on a Saudi show or see if he can make it happen down under.

Honestly, I feel so bad for him. He shouldn’t have had to take the Wardley fight. And to have it stopped like that when he hadn’t even touched down and was 8-2 up is an absolute disgrace.

    Hrgovic.

This would be a seriously good fight. Both have **** the bed in big fights, but both are still pretty good and real tough. Would be an excellent co-main on the Usyk-Wardley card (and Parker is humble enough to handle that).

It was a razor close fight that many thought should have gone Parker´s way. If you are going to argue that Parker should have lost other close fights then why not argue for his win there?

You believe the Shades of Ali nonsense.

Parker handily won that Fury fight.

Rematch with a better game plan (because Wardley has proven now to be packing power and a serious chin) or retire.

Because at the end of the day, if you can't beat someone as basic as Wardley what's the point of continuing?

He wins the Wardley rematch if he comes in lighter. He might’ve even won this fight if the ref let him continue.

Didn’t Parker avoid Hrgovic at some point? Could be wrong

He has made more than enough to retire. The climb will be long and I just don't see him making it past some of the younger contender. Wardley is the most basic fighters out of any contender and he still got caught.

I wouldn't say I was cocky but I didn't think Fabio could hang with him, and I was wrong.
He let himself eat too many shots, couldn't dissuade Wardley, and nature of the stoppage aside he should never have been in a position to let it happen.
Wardley turning into a huge what-if for me.
As in what if he'd walked into a gym as a teenager and stuck with it.

    Parker turns 34 in Jan

    He may decide to continue

But I certainly feel retirement may be worthwhile

Mind you - the "Losers" in the HW div now are all piling up. What to do with them all?

    Sydney, Brisbane or Auckland?

Personally, I'd go for Sydney, so I could attend it.

There are actually plenty of fights for him.

    Dubious v Parker.
    Croatian v Parker
    Rematch with Zhang
    Rematch with Wilder
    Rematch with Joyce
    Rematch with Hughie Fury even.

I think he loses most of them though. Problem is he was always Chisora level just more carefully matched and now he's really fat and seems to be getting hurt and KO'd a lot.

IMO, Parker is on a single loss, not a losing streak. He should try to get back on the horse, and make this one look like a blip.

He's got time for another shot post Usyk if he does everything right from here. Give is a few weeks for the disappointment to wear off. He's still solid top 10.

I thought he took on Joyce instead, so wouldn't really call that one a duck
