    No it isn't relatively close

Fury obviously thought the Ngannou fight would be an exhibition

Wilder knocks out the Fury from the Ngannou fight in 1 round

Even counting that, Wardley isn't landing that shot on Fury imo.

Fun fight now that I think about it

Wardley is about to have possibly more Undisputed title fights than both Wilder and Joshua combined so no boxing forum nerd can take that away from him either way.

Parker is slightly better and more accomplished than prime Ortiz. Huni is obviously more naturally talented a boxer than the likes of plodding Stiverne and American football player Washington. Clarke is an Olympic bronze medallist and better amateur than anyone Wilder beat on his abysmal title run.

So yeah kind of as Fabio has without a doubt challenged himself much more in much quicker time which is a credit to big white collar Fabio. Wardley is a more well rounded less technically sloppy boxer with a more consistent jab better feet and most likely a better chin. however, Wilder has a more powerful single shot with his right hand though Fabio can obviously whack with venom.

Fabio Wardley went life and death with Frazier Clarke who might not even be better than Dominick Braezele who Deontay Wilder knocked out in a round..

You see how these theories don't work

No. The Huni and Parker wins were as uninspirng as knockout wins get. Are you inspired to pick Wardley to beat great HWs? I'm not.

My takeaway from this fight is that Wilder and Zhang would probably have beaten Parker in their prime. Not that Wardleys this amazing champion. If hes not the worst titlelist to defend a belt hes certainly done the worst in those 2 fights he won.

Ortiz is better then Parker btw.

"Undisputed title fights" is not a real thing though. Its something a marketing major pulled out of their ass.

Parker is slightly more accomplished then Ortiz but what he accomplished doesn't elevate him above Ortiz H2H.

Wardley got an title shot dozens of HWs are pining for and he got it against a 12-0 fighter. Then he unified with the easier of the 2 interims champions. He doesn't really deserve a medal for challenging himself.

Parker has much better wins than Ortiz does though.

Ortiz hasn't beat anybody of note. His best wins are Jennings and Martin. Joe's resume is far superior.

Ortiz looked more skilled vs Wilder than Parker did vs Wardley and Ortiz hit harder than Huni and was levels above Clarke who is just British title level with no power.

What people aren't mentioning is that Wardley is massively improving from fight to fight. Compare this one to his bout against Adeleye. His feinting game was on point against Parker. Wardley now is unironically a better technician and ring general than Wilder who was an Olympian  You can also unironically argue that this single win against Parker is better than any from Wilder, who is in the top 3 worst HW champions ever in terms of resume and is H2H a glass cannon one hit wonder. Belt status blinds people too much when it comes to Wilder.
