Fury deserves to be near the back of the queue until he beats a few contenders. He hasn't beat a contender since Dillian Whyte in 2022, and that was an average contender already at least slightly in decline. He beat gatekeeper Chisora (for the 3rd time) in late 2022. Then he 'beat' a UFC fighter in a performance that underlines the fact that he needs to prove himself capable of beating real contenders. Yes, he was competitive against Usyk but the judges had him losing, two losses back-to-back. They were not robberies. So if he comes back, put him in with a genuine test. There's no way he should be allowed to jump the queue, or get a shot off the back of a 'tune up' against an unknown. Let's see him beat Kabayel or Wardley, or Dubois or Ajagba, or Hrgovic even.
Why, he deserves not... Parker, Wardley rematch PRONTO, within 2 - 3 months, then Usyk vs the Winner.
Fury is retired....he gets nowhere near Uysk until he wins an interim belt and the right to a title fight!! No retired fighter who has already had 2 cracks at the title (and lost) gets to queue jump
People may not like to admit it but Tyson Fury aka the sexiest man on the planet is the only man who really can compete with Usyk because of his size and footwork. Both are on the way out but both are still far superior to their peers. Young bucks deserve a shot yes but really both Usyk and Fury should be retired now so nobody can complain if they do fight again it's all a bonus for us. Before this weekend to many were high on the idea of bore parker getting his face boxed off by Usyk and I still don't know why but he blew it good and proper. Fury has been in training all year it's clear to me he will fight next year early summer once the ridyah money comes through and conveniently his netflix show will premiere. AJ is the planned opponent I suspect but Usyk is always on the table if Wardley doesn't seem like a marketable option for king turki and co.
Fury back to fighting bums then. I guess Seferi, Pianeta and Ngannou were busy? Fury should avenge the Ngannou split decision to earn a crack at AJ.
Belly doesn't deserve it and I don't want to see it but I can see why Team Usyk wouldn't be interested in the Fabio fight. I'd rather Usyk defended against Kabayel instead and Fabio fought a few more top contenders and proved himself without any controversy tarnishing the result so if Usyk were to continue boxing he would receive more credit for beating him and the reward matched the risk Fabio's a beast and I'd love to see him become champ. I do think it would be the honourable thing to give J-Park a rematch but I don't see it happening. Not to say I think J-Park would've won had the ref not waved it off because he may well have got stopped shortly afterwards or got caught and hurt again and taken out in the next round. Or he may well have recovered and won on points or stopped a completely gassed Fabio who'd punched himself out Big Frank is already talking like the fight would be in Wembley like the champ Usyk had agreed to that. Granted, we know Usyk is the road warrior king and he has fought or would fight everyone in their backyard but he's playing Russian roulette fighting all these savage punchers and legit bangers, let alone ones who are much bigger and younger than him and at his age, and he's also playing Russian roulette fighting opponents in their backyards so often because as we have seen so many times it drastically increases your chances of losing via hook or crook and Usyk has been a real thorn in their side and they desperately want to get one over him and him out of the picture.
