In one corner we have the man who broke Ali's jaw, with the puzzle of his cross-armed pressure.

In the other corner, we have the Olympic gold medalist and two-time unified heavyweight champion, sculpted star of the modern era.

    Who you got?

In some ways Ken Norton was a better fighter than Anthony Joshua. But I don’t know if he had the durability or right style to take on a man of Joshua’s size and power. I realize Joshua isn’t Foreman. But he’s not a bum either. And while I can understand some deeming Norton as the better boxer, this might be a less than favorable match for him.

Oh man Joshie bludgeons him into submission, not much of a fight to be had.

King Kenny will stop Joshua, but will be a good fight rock em sock em type. Joshua will lose heart. IMO

If AJ is in the right, aggressive mindset and goes for it early, I can see him overwhelming Norton early, due to his sheer size and power. Not quite as devastating as when Foreman did it, but still pretty overwheming. But plenty of versions of AJ have been more cautious than that. If AJ takes a more methodical, careful approach and tried to settle into boxing behind his jab, he'll slowly be outworked and ground down by Norton's awkward style and body punching. There is a danger in focusing too much on AJ's size being an advantage rather than a disadvantage - especially in a longer fight with a proven, fifteen round, world class level fighter like Norton. Look what Uysk has taught us about smaller v bigger heavyweights.

AJ has about 4 rounds to knock Norton out. If the fight goes beyond that, Norton wears him down.

And Ken was damn fitter than Ruiz, absolutely.

Norton absolutely finds an overhand right over the top of a jab. Much too dynamic, precise, and used to finding smaller, more compact target as opposed to the huge target in Joshua. Up close he better at slinging two-fisted combinations and finding the ribs and liver.

    Definitely a good bout though.

I think Kenny is actually well-suited to draw an inefficient jab while blocking most long-range shots with his crossguard and setting up an overhand right or left to the body. Granite chinned seek-and-destroy fighters are what I would consider to be his kryptonite.

,,,,,,,he doesn’t. I also find it interesting how fixated on the male figure you are.
