Who Ranks Higher Harry Greb or Sam Langford?

I rank Greb slightly higher due to his consistency. That said, Langford fought at absurd range of weights, which could be a factor for him as well.

 

Bump it up!

 

Langford did things Greb could not.

 

In my greatest of all time list i have Greb at 2 and Langford at 6

 

Depends on the day, for me.

 

I have Greb at #2 and Langford at #3, p4p, and essentially agree with Matt, that there is no wrong answer here.

May I ask what makes you edge SRR over both?

 

Of course. It's dominance during prime years.

Greb has the deeper win resume.

Langford the more impressive scalps against much larger fighters.

SRR was consistently more dominant.

At one time or another all 3 have been my p4p GOAT and I have no problem how anyone orders these 3.

 

It's a draw for me. Tied at #2.

 

Amazing matchup but if both men were at their top going balls to the wall for a 15 round bout I like Sam.

 

The short answer is that you can argue it either way.
