Mayweather and Pacquiao in talks for potential rematch for 2026

Possibly, he certainly has been fighting at a higher level more recently and doesn't seem to be too affected by his advanced age.
That being said Mayweather still has the same stylistic advantages so I wouldn't be confident either way.

That being said it probably doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things, this would be a money grab plain and simple.

 

If fools are willing to part way with their money.

 

Even if Floyd needs the money I still don't think he will take this as a legit fight because I reckon his undefeated record means more to him than anything in the world. Pacquaio has been active so the advantage is with him and Floyd knows this.
Floyd will likely just continue with circus exhibition fights.

If it's a legit fight Pac would probably beat Floyd this time, but I think Floyd is smarter than that. He won't risk his "0", this will most likely be another money grab exhibition fight.

 

Saying that Floyd is smarter is just a nicer way than saying he is scared of losing which is the truth.

 

The sad thing is that, even now, this would be the biggest fight you could make in American boxing. Shows you how degraded the sport has become here.

 

I have seen some good exhibitions in T-Rex Corey Sanders vs iron Mike Tyson, rest in peace Ricky Hatton and Marco Antonio Barrera. But have seen some dull ones too: Jones Tyson, Holyfield Belfort. I for one do not wanna see Manny vs PAC part 2. I would prefer to read about it after the fight. Will I watch? Probably, but for the heck of it is wanna see PAC ko money just for the heck of it.
