As I’m sure some of you know Kabayel spent a lot of the Parker/wardley fight week to do interviews calling for a future fight with Dubois and to be fair Dubois seems to be accepting of the possible match up.

now I don’t care to discuss this fight in much detail on who wins this just because this could be just another fight that is just in talk that goes nowhere (for the record I think Kabayel would win this) but is this a risk worth taking or should Kabayel take a few easy fights and hope Usyk takes the challenge.

if he does fight Dubois it would be the best possible opponent to get eyes on him and if he wins in style the pressure would be on Usyk to actually fight him.

If he doesn’t fight Dubois or someone with a name he’d likely be pushed to the side and never be in serious talks to fight Usyk.

this also has possible banana skin all over it. Especially coming off the Parker wardley fight maybe Kabayel should play it safe.

What do you guys think? Roll the dice, Take the challenge and put the pressure on Usyk or wait, take some easy warm up fights and hope Usyk takes the challenge.

Also side note it seems that frank Warren was the one pushing for this fight in the first place based on recent interviews. I get the vibe that frank is done match making in Dubois favour and feeding him to the wolves now.

I'd love for this fight to happen. It would be a great action packed fight.

I'd expect Kabayel to break Dubois down and stop him mid-late rounds.

Should have been Parker Kabayel and Wardley Dubious. Kabayel woul have beat Parker then got Usyk. Wardley Dubious winner could have fought loser Parker.

Would like to see it go ahead but doubt it will. More likely they both fight shot, old journeymen. If they fight anyone at all.

I am all for dubois against kabayel. I still rate dubois as one of the top 4. So it would be an absolutely great matchup.

Dubois is game and brings the offense and I don't have to mention how kabayel does bring the offense.

So yes kabayel should take the fight!

Even though I rate him 2nd right now, I don't care if he loses, i want to see great fights and this is probably the best possible heavyweight matchup right now (because all lose against usyk - not as interesting).

And let him fight at least twice a year, three times if the choice of opponent is worse

It'd be a decent scrap between top-5 guys, would be surprised if they made it, but stranger things have happened.

My gut feeling is Kabayel is more likely to be the roadblock on this - it's a solid test, and the choice of Hysa suggests a fighter more keen on preserving position than testing himself.

Could be interesting - Dubois was shown up bigtime by Usyk, but otherwise has his strengths... He's got quit in him when things go wrong, and that could be bad if Kabayel connects enough to the body - equally, Dubois isn't a concrete booted fossil like Zhang.

I'd love to see it, but I won't hold my breath.

It’s a no brainier for Kabayel, first time he will earn proper money. Winning will position him for a Usyk fight, which I am not sure he will get by waiting or fighting significantly weaker opponents.

I see Dubois as favourite, but I am not sure Dubois will love this fight as payout for him will be low for his standards

I’d favour Kabayel, but I wouldn't be surprised if Dubois chins him since he is a devastating puncher, has decent stamina and Kabayel has been hurt.

I’m all for this, I’d expect both to get comfortable fights to start the year and please the home crowd, I have seen Kabayel is returning to Germany, they won’t go this risky yet, same for Dubois. But next up, maybe for a vacant belt.
In line with the poster above, Kabayel is certainly the favourite, Dubois’s power and endurance to go rounds would see him as a very live contender, but on the other hand you would expect Kabayel to grind him down and take his mind more so to places that he is not comfortable with.

Kabayel should really refuse to fight dubious after the performance he showed at usyk2 .

Why ? Out of a sudden dubois will show up in top shape like against AJ - and not coming off a party and standing in the middle to wait until knocked out - giving kabayel a really tough night .

People will say how great usyk is beating dubois easily while kabayel really went life and death while dubois,s daddy still enjoys the money he got for usyk-dubois2 and usyk cannot stop laughing on his injury extension .

Kabayel should NOT make the same mistake parker did .

I'd like to see this fight, but I doubt it happens.

Warren is more likely to put Dubois in with a soft opponent next, and have a crooked referee like Howard Foster (the ref when Dubois fought Lerena).

I agree, I don't think this match is a logical move for Dubois coming off that KO loss in a career sense .I believe any competent manager would know he needs a couple of fights to build confidence and momentum . Of course it could be just grabbing as many Benjamins as quickly as possible.

Kabayel is fighting the 6'7 cowardly Frenchman who let a 52-year-old Carlos Takam bully and batter him all around a French ring.

Which is an awful fight seeing as the Kurd is without a doubt in my mind the third best heavyweight in the world behind Usyk and Big Fabio.

I honestly think Johnny Fisher might scare Yoka into dancing around the ring trying to survive at this point now that he's off the special Parisian ''slug juice'' as Fisher is English level but he can actually punch and that's enough to frighten the cowardly Frenchman. awful fight.
