If we made a list of top 20 p4p boxers, are there any born in the last 40 years that would be included? Crawford, Canelo, Inoue, Usyk?

I suspect it would be a consensus no for all bar maybe Uysk.

    Usyk
    Inoue is getting close.
Bud needs more big time wins. He certainly has the skills.

You could make the argument. It's hard to compare across weight classes and eras like that. Is Usyk better than Jose Napoles? Man IDFK, if you like I guess.

I interpreted the question as being about skills, not resume.

I think Inoue and Usyk are both in there; some of Inoue's records are phenomenal. If he beats Nakatani—which I think he will—and cleans up at 126—which I don't think he will, but if he did, you could make a case for him in the top 10. Usyk scrapes into the top 20.

That "born in" is really kneecapping this answer. I'm going to say no. COVID did not help this group. I don't have Usyk or Crawford particularly close here. Crawford's paper accomplishments given the context of the era are through the roof but the actual guys he's faced just aren't there, to me. And he's my favourite guy of this era, who I rate the highest, so...
