Joe Bugner V Frank Bruno (Both prime) Henry Cooper V Joe Bugner (Both prime) Frank Bruno V Gary Mason (Around 1989-90)
Depends on what version of Bugner turns up if he really has a go like he did vs Frazier. I think with his durability and if it's a 15 round fight he might be able to pull it off. Cooper I thought legitimately beat Bugner when they actually did fight and Cooper was at the end of his career. But to be fair Bugner was also green at this stage and very young himself. Probably another close one TBH aslong as Cooper doesn't get cut of course. I'd favour Mason by KO he seemed to have better durability and with two big punchers the one with better durability should be favoured logically.
I like to think the best version of Bugner,so he's ready and willing to take on Frankie. Same as against Cooper. Maybe the version that fought Joe Frazier is a good one to pick. I think Bugner could have taken both,he has the skills and chin imo. Mason definitely showed a good chin, tho it's a close fight in parts with Frank's jab and right hand taking a few rounds. The later rounds are the one's imo that show us the winner. I'm a little unsure tbh.
