Some unsatisfied fans call Crawford a fraud who beats medicore champions by weight bullying and targets shot fighters. If he loses to Janibek who could be the only bigger guy he's ever faced what would it do to Crawfords legacy

Janibek is a good fighter and it would be Crawfords best win by far.

Janibek is a hype job even without Crawford having to beat him up.

Janibek is the top dog in one of the worst divisions in the sport, and he also boils himself down to such an extent that he ended up in the hospital last year. I imagine the lack of quality he has faced as a pro and the fact that he is constantly cutting weight so dangerously will shave years off his career.

It honestly wouldn't surprise me if Lara beat him, and then the Crawford fight dies in the water. If they did fight, Crawford beats Janibek, and I think he beats him pretty easily. Janibek isn't as good as people think.

Crawford is one of the fighters I don't like, I hope Janibek shuts him down...

Obviously it would hurt his legacy a bit, age could probably be used as a bit of an excuse. But it doesn't stop the fact hes beaten Spence and Canelo and has proven to be one of the best boxers of his generation.

Given that Crawford is already at an age where most fighters are usually washed up close to 40 I would say a potential "loss" wouldn't hurt him one bit.

Saying that though we'd have to wait and see how Janibek does against Lara before hailing him as this supposed threat to Crawford.

Crawford beats Janibek everyday and twice on Sundays.

And I feel the same way. Janibek hasn't done anything to suggest that he'd beat an elite fighter like Crawford. Even if he looks great beating an old Lara he'll still have his hands full with someone like Bud.

He will be exposed as a fraud and everybody will hate him thereafter.

I still say Canelo would be Crawford's best win. But a Janibek win would definitely make a statement as to who the #1 fighter in the world is. I'd like to see Crawford take on Janibek and Boots then retire. Nothing really left to prove after that.

People sound idiotic trying to push this weight bullying angle on Crawford. They sound desperate because the verbal jabs before were constantly debunked. How does a man who consistently was called too small, or light in the a$$ or not a real welterweight, etc.....be a weight bully. Especially being that as an amateur and pro he had never competed higher than 135 until he moved to 140..... Never competed highter than 140 until he moved to 147...... He's doing nothing different that what EVERY great who moved up did during their career. Was Floyd a weight bully.... Manny......Hearns.......Leonard........Roy........Canelo........ How is it that this new standard only applies to Crawford?

Benavidez walked around much bigger than Crawford. Same with Shawn Porter who when I ran into him a year or so ago, he looked to be a 200+ lb guy. And he wasn't fat. Errol Spence Jr. is easily 190 when not in camp. Kell Brook....etc... But Crawford is weight bullying opponents now......lol

A loss to Janibek would be extremely surprising to any non bias Boxing fan because Janibek doesn't present a style that Crawford hasn't seen and hasn't already conquered. I already can hear the excuses and justifications for when Crawford is to dominate round to round. Leading up to the fight we will hear a mixed of how Janibek is bigger and/or stronger. How he's younger. How he's closer to his prime......etc... Afterwards, people are going to breakdown just how less of a stellar record Janibek has and how he isn't a "Hall of Fame" quality opponent and has multiple flaws........It's literally what happens before and after EVERY bout that Crawford has been apart of since becoming a world champion.
