why? I love the Wardley fight if im Usyk. A Brit who will generate big PPV buys and likely bring Saudi money, who is a relative newbie? Other than Jake Paul, I can’t imagine a lower risk / higher reward fight for Usyk.

Wardley took Parkers belt he inherits Parkers situation regardless of how more or less justified it is. Its not right but it is straightfoward.

This situation highlights how champions are stripped not for inactivity or ducking but violating the alphabet bodies god given right to choose their opponents. Thats why the WBO is mandating what would otherwise be seen as a easy routine title defense.

Usyk might duck Kabayel, Hrgovic or Sanchez or someone like that. Wardley? If he was willing to promise the WBO he'd fight Parker to avoid being stripped there is no reason to walk away from Wardley.

I agree , in fact a wardley title defence would generate the most money currently available but i do not think wardley is enough low risk to be comfortable for usyk.

I see him keeping the belts as long as possible without fighting anybody , then dropping the wbo belt to fight dubois3 or jake paul . Maybe both

The British boxing fans will always turn out to support a British boxer in a world championship fight. I'm pretty sure Usyk-Wardley would sell out Wembley.

A lot of Brits are very familiar with Usyk too. After his fights with Fury, Joshua, and Dubois he has numerous fans in the UK.
Why do you hate Usyk? Envy?

It makes no sense that anyone could like boxing and hate Usyk. The man exemplifies everything that is good about the sport: awesome boxing skills, willingness to fight in his opponents' countries, willingness to fight bigger men, and strong personal character.

I thought Parker was going to dispatch of Wardley with relative ease, I suppose that I misunderstood the man's game. I have no problem with him getting the Usyk fight now.

Why would Usyk avoid Wardley, this fight will generate alot of buzz in the uk and do big numbers at wembley with the exciting run Wardley has been on. It's a much bigger fight in the uk than the Parker fight would have been so Usyk is probably quite happy with how it's turned out.

It's whether or not Turki wants to pay enough for it I guess. He still seems fixated on a Fury Usyk trilogy

    Warren said negotiations have begun.

You are really on the wrong side of history with Usyk, Mr. Fury. I mean, I know he beat your son and everything, but he'll be gone sooner rather than later, the rest of the world is going to remember him as one of the greatest to have ever done it, and you will be clinging to a silly grudge.

It's John Fury. I am 102% sure, with a 2% margin of error.
