Imagine what a hypocrite you must be to collaborate with a man whose moment you stole because of a meltdown...
I remember Usyk saying he likes Joshua and would be willing to coach him to a victory vs Fury. This was after Usyk-Joshua 2 if I recall. I would just be confused personally. Makes plenty of sense to me if Usyk retired, but if Usyk wants to box till 41, wtf would Joshua be doing in his camp?
In AJ's defense, he did apologize the next day. Fury didn't apologize for his comments after the first Usyk fight.
This content is protected It could work, since if anybody should have credibility with Joshua it’s Usyk, since the man beat both him and Fury twice and is still unbeaten. Usyk also let Joshua have his post fight moment without making a big deal about it.
Actually, before Joshua's crazy rant, Usyk was trying to give him advice explaining why he had the advantage in their fights despite being smaller and having less raw strength. Joshua cut him off before he finished. I think Usyk almost thinks of Joshua as a younger classmate/brother type of dynamic.
I imagine Usyk is a lot more sanguine about AJ's rant because he's, ya know, an actual athlete and high level competitor just like AJ. He knows the absolutely insane levels of dedication and work you have to put in to get to that level. He knows how soul crushing it can be to get that far, achieve all these great things, and then come up short (his first Olympic run in Beijing). He also knows he hit AJ in the head about 200 times in that fight and that AJ was probably seriously concussed. Usyk and AJ are very friendly and have been since their fights. You can often catch them shooting the **** with each other at the fights like when Zhang was fighting Kabayel. I think Usyk has said his kids are big AJ fans, too. So no, it wouldn't surprise me if AJ showed up to Usyk's camp and got some training. I think Usyk would be all for that, especially if it eventually led to AJ flattening Fury.
