Think I've got to the point where I’m just going to watch boxing on the BBC (when it starts), Channel 5, and anything Sky pick up. The rest I’ll just read online or watch highlights on YouTube.

DAZN is a scam and Adam Smith joining is the final straw. It’s surely the worst-value subscription of all time, even without the added PPV’s which seem to be monthly now.

I thought the idea of dazn was decent, monthly sub but no ppv’s, good worldwide cards and initially I subscribed and was fairly happy-problem is the price soon crept up, there was then periods of time with either no fight cards or cards I wasn’t interested in and that monthly subscription very quickly did not seem like value for money! That’s without the farce that is the PPV situation! I really think that was the death of it! Let’s be honest fans are fed up of being ripped off and lied to and that’s something that dazn seems to have excelled at, what is the cost of a subscription these days? I know they changed the format a couple of years back didn’t they?

So cringe haha, not gonna watch but on a niche forum website during the day talking about it, mate, no one's opinion of you improves because you pretend you're not going to watch it.

This the conclusion I arrived at in June when I cancelled DAZN after 5 years of paying.

From memory, the price history has gone like this:

    - £2/month – no PPV (got fights like Canelo v Saunders, Garcia v Campbell etc)
    - £7.99/month – no PPV
    - £7.99/month – PPV only for mega fights
    - £9.99/month – PPV only for mega fights
    - £14.99/month but have to sign up for 12 months. Anything half decent including all Saudi cards PPV.

A flexi-pass, where you can cancel at the end of the month, is £25 FFS. If you signed up for a month today at £25 then the only fight you’d get is the Ben Whittaker fight.

From 21st December last year to 27th December this year, DAZN will have done 13 PPV’s in 12 months.

From what little I've read about this I thought a notable point was Benn saying he was too "consumed by violence" first time around and that it cost him the fight.

I actually think fighting hotheaded worked in his favour. He took risks with those wild swinging shots which found the target on more than one occasion. But if he tries to fight a more tactical and measured fight this time, I can only see an even more decisive points win for Eubank. Benn has little to no chance of outboxing him on the outside unless CEJ has physically deteriorated even further.

I'm guessing Rematchroom will be going nuclear with all their dirty tricks to ensure a Benn win so us fans are rewarded with the Wembley rubber match of the century next summer.

I've heard a close fight either way and a 3rd is almost guaranteed.

Wasn't it this month DAZN was going to introduce a Fight Pass subscription with PPVs included ?
