Did Crawford Really Move Up “Clean”? Something Doesn’t Add Up.

There’s something off about Terence Crawford’s jump in weight. He moved up multiple divisions — from 147 to 168 lbs — and somehow kept the same speed, reflexes, and punch resistance.
That’s not normal, even with a “controlled” bulk-up.

    History proves it.
Mikey Garcia at welter, Chavez Jr, Duran at middleweight… all of them slowed down. That’s basic physiology: when you gain mass, you lose a bit of speed and fluidity.
But Crawford? He looks untouched. And that’s where the questions begin.

Then you hear the name Victor Conte around his circle. I’m not making accusations, but let’s be real — Conte isn’t just another nutrition guy. He’s the man behind the BALCO scandal, the one who admitted distributing steroids to elite athletes.
Now he runs SNAC, a “sports nutrition” company, and several top boxers have worked with him. So why is his name popping up again right when Crawford’s body transformation looks almost too good to be true?

No official doping violation has been reported. But there’s also no full transparency on the testing — no public records, no dates, no lab details.
And when someone jumps up that many pounds while keeping every physical advantage intact, silence only fuels suspicion.

This isn’t hate or conspiracy. It’s common sense.
If a fighter breaks the physical laws that apply to everyone else, you ask questions — not stay quiet.

    Simple questions:

    • What kind of drug tests has Crawford taken in the past year?
    • Who oversaw his supplementation?
    • Were there VADA random tests or just internal team protocols?
    • And what was Victor Conte’s actual role, if any, in his preparation?
I’m not saying he cheated. But something doesn’t smell right.
If boxing wants credibility, it needs transparency. Nobody should gain that much size and keep every skill intact without explaining how.

Crawford’s talent is undeniable. But the combo — sudden weight jump, same speed, higher power, and Victor Conte’s shadow nearby — leaves a mark worth looking into.
Not out of gossip, but out of respect for the sport.

The short answer is he has always been a giant weight bully who has been known to walk around at 180pounds.

Luckily for Crawford, Camelo has always cheated, too. So, they probably had an agreement not to legitimately have each other tested.

Crawford walks around at 180 he could always make Middleweight/Super Middleweight comfortably.

I kept telling people the size advantage was exaggerated and Crawford was even taller than Canelo with a 4 inch reach advantage.

I also find it funny you're making these accusations about Crawford when Canelo has his "contaminated beef" history.

You understand you make Canelo a victim with this ****, right? Despite having every possible advantage. You diminish him, the last great Mexican fighter. Why would you do that? Who else is in the pipeline? So butthurt that you step on your dick.

How about Bud got a great win toward (at?) the end of Canelo's career instead? No loser here.

Simple explanation. When he fought Madrimov at 154, his fight night weight was 167. I believe when he fought Canelo his fight night weight was 171. So, he really wasn't fighting with a lot of added weight. He just didn't drain as much weight.

If anything was suss about Crawford it was how he was able to cut insane amounts of weight and still be able to perform than the most recent fight IMO.

I think you're not the only one questioning this. People like to have heroes, but the best often have their advantages.

In crawford's case it's probably a mix of being way taller and heavier than all his previous opponents and on the other side 'very good' results of going up the weight and an old canelo on the slide who was bad in the fights before already.

And maybe they had a testing agreement. Why would this be so unbelievable. In these freak fights where a top performing athlete jumps 3 weights to Fight against an aging undisputed 'king', everyone wins when both perform better...

Also interesting to see in comparison how much he struggled against madrimov
