Likely has a Glass Jaw. We've all seen this movie before.

Agreed, it's ridiculous nowadays. As soon as a fighter comes along with a lot of potential and a bit of hype they're ppv worthy, without a single decent name on their record. His last fight on ppv lasted about a minute, now he won't fight again for what? 4 months or more, against someone else with little to no chance of winning and it'll probably be on PPV. I hope I'm wrong.

The people who pay for those mismatched PPVs are the ones to blame.

Yup. Exactly what I was thinking. Usually when a fighter's management doesn't want to put him with live bodies it means they know there's something wrong with that chinny chin chin!!!!

Lots of signs this guy's packing glass:sisi1

Its seems his management is hellbent on following the Cooney Modus Operandi in his path to a title shot.

I don't think Ituama is the fraud that Wilder and Anderson are, but yeah, turning down Sanchez while pursuing the severely declined shows that Frank and company have some questions about him. Hey, more power to them on developing slowly, but let's dispense with the fake narratives. He's a good prospect that, to the eye, looks to have a lot going for him. Nothing more.

Wilder and Anderson were both obvious frauds. Neither even passed the eye test.In a sport filled with shameful things, Deontay Wilder will always be one of the top ten.

Garnering experience blasting out grandads in a few seconds.

    Exactly.
He's done than 5 minutes and 45 seconds total action in the whole of 2025.
That includes watching his opponent (neither of whom were current contenders) getting counted.

It's pathetic. He's barely an active fighter.

They'll feed him grandads then perhaps hope to get a shot AJ in the ring with him.

Itauma v Pulev shouldn't even be sanctioned.

There's absolute no grounds for believing Pulev might be able to give Itauma rounds. Even if Itauma might not be quite as good as the hype has people believe, he's obviously going to destroy Pulev in 1 or 2 rounds.
Pulev in his prime (over 10 years ago) was destroyed in 5 rounds by an OLD klitschko.
It's 5 years since an already very old Pulev was knocked cold in 9 rounds by a possibly declining Joshua (and lucky to survive round 3 if i remember rightly).
Pulev hasn't scored a stoppage win since March 2019.
He has nothing to resist Itauma with.

It would be another sickening spectacle.

Zhang is the only 40-something that could be justifiably matched with Itauma now, and even that's very possible mismatch in the young man's favour, and quickly becoming unjustifiable - since Zhang was stopped in his last fight in February and has been out of the ring since then.

Let's face it, a lot of boxing fans enjoy watching youngsters being fed the corpses of old 'names' and broken down has-beens. It's part of the tradition.

In a way, someone has to clear these older names out ... who won't fight/move on without a cash out against a marketable opponent. If Itauma fought more often, it would be ok.

A bit harsh on wilder maybe? Anderson I can see, but i back when he was in his prime I had to grudgingly admit that stiff wilder was great at finding and executing his right hand in different scenarios and angles/distances. The way he hit ortiz in their second fight (and i was rooting for ortiz hard) was extremely quick and precise. The way he took out szpilka on the other hand was a great reaction that i didn't see coming at all and that should not have been in his repertoire.

So basically he was very one dimensional but made this dimension count as much as you could ask from someone with that skillset.

Total fraud is not was wilder was. Plus he had the correct mindset back then. He was not much more of a fraud than joshua was with his robot style. But both were the main champions in heavy for a while. So fraud is too much for my taste.

More like Wilder. Even Cooney fought more live bodies than Wilder did.

Wilder is and was a total Glass Jawed Fraud who was coddled and protected the whole way up by his management who carefully controlled and crafted his career because of his Glass Jaw and even then they almost failed. Get out of here with this bull****.
