    Both prime?

I'm going with Larry Holmes on points maybe a late stoppage. Pretty sure Larry would be hurt at some point but he would dig deep like always did.
Holmes faster hand, ring IQ make the difference IMO.

I like Lewis to sneak home by a big round somewhere, maybe a KD.

Toss a coin tho, you can make great arguments for either.

Holmes for me he's faster has a better jab and he has better stamina down the stretch.

If it was 15 rounds I'd definitely favour Holmes.

Holmes UD12 because he was more savvy and technical, but Lewis would hurt him along the way.

    Holmes
Both men operated behind the jab and Larry's was better actually alot better. I only give Lewis the edge in power. Larry was better at everything else.

A technical masterpiece and a very close fight.
Over 12 rounds I say Lewis.
Over 15 , which Lennox never fought, then I might give it to Holmes, again by close decision.

I think if Lewis comes in in the mood to break something beautiful, then Holmes gets pulled out on a stretcher.

Over 12 Holmes by split decision.

Larry will get off to a great start and probably win the 1st 4 rounds.

Lewis will start to come on from that point by letting his big right hand go.

Things would be close after eight, Lewis lands a huge shot in the ninth which staggers or even floors Holmes.

He survives and starts rallying, landing hard rights to Lennox´s body and lands a cracking uppercut that drops the Brit at the end of the eleventh.

Lewis barely survives the last round.

Over 15, pretty much the same as above except Holmes stops an exhausted Lewis in the 14th.

I don't need a gun to my head to pick Holmes. He was, quite simply, a better boxer than Lewis. He would make Lennox fight at an uncomfortable pace, and dictate the fight with his jab. Once Lewis started to tire in the later rounds, Larry would pull away on the cards for a clear decision win over 12. The odds favoring Larry go up dramatically if it is scheduled for 15.

Lennox for me. It’s easy to imagine it being a cagey technical fight, but I can also see Lewis scoring a clinical KO. Regardless, would’ve loved to have seen this one.

If Shavers, who hit Holmes cleanly with a right hand, couldn't put him in a stretcher then neither could Lewis. UD for Holmes over 12, KO for Holmes over 15.

    Best of each, Lewis.

A prime Holmes struggled with an old, flawed but strong fighter in Norton. Lewis had a way of controlling just about everyone through his strength, at times playing it a bit safe. Sure, he had some some par performances but when he fought so many killers that was bound to happen.

To quote Milton Berle, I see Lewis pulling out just enough to win.

Prime Larry wins but he might not bat 1.000 in an extended series.
