    Patrick James Brown born November 11th 1999 is a 6'3 Cruiserweight with a 5-0 5 KO's record. Born in Sale, Greater Manchester, United Kingdom and fighting out of Totnes, Devon, United Kingdom. While his amateur career wasn't all that extensive, he still managed to snag himself a Heavyweight title at the England Boxing National Amateur Championships in 2021, and the national championship twice. He got all the way to the 2024 Olympics, where he was unfortunately eliminated in the first round, losing a SD to Brazil's Keno Marley Machado. But instead of resting on his laurels and licking his wounds, he was quickly scooped up by Matchroom in late 2024, and made his pro debut in 2025, having 5 matches between late March and October. So clearly he's not wasting any time, he wants the smoke, and isn't afraid to take risks. He even stated, “I'm there to do my job, I'm not there to dance.” Eddie Hearn is practically ebullient at the prospect of making him a star, and while Eddie doesn't always have the best instincts, even a blind mouse can see that Pat Brown has star written all over him. He's a fairly handsome guy, with a nice personality, and a decent talker, with murderous KO power and an all action fan friendly style. So what's not to like? I highly doubt the man has got a glass jaw, a unlike most amateurs, he didn't pick up any KO losses along the way, and just looks tough as nails. He tends to download information in the first, his defense is fair, his jab is thudding and authoritative, his hand speed and timing impressive and his punch selection, combinations and angles are relatively unpredictable, he's a dedicated boy puncher, solid on the inside and has vicious uppercut. He certainly passes the eye test with flying colors and then some. Patrick The Bomber is a menace in the making!:ggg:ggg:ggg:ggg

    Pat Brown, much like Josh Taylor, will not accomplish anything in the fight game, due to the aggressively overt plainness of his name.

    Hope he does well.

    To me he looks to have pretty quick and very heavy hands, but can look a little awkward going backwards. He's catching shots on the guard and leaning back a lot to take himself out of range but his fairly limited head-movement and slow/awkward feet going backwards mean I'd expect that against faster opponents he'll get caught.

    Still, he's shown enough in these early fights that if his power and toughness are there then he'll go far.

    Brown looks beastly and already like one of the best CWs in the world and certainly the best prospect at the weight. It's still early days and he has to prove it in the ring and tick certain boxes but apparently according to those around him he does have a good chin and can take a whack. We won't know the answer to that until we see his whiskers get tested by a big puncher but he was a high level amateur and he's sparred a lot of top guys and big punchers and he looks the tough type to me. Granted looks can be deceptive though

    He reminds me a tad of the former British wrestler and actor Pat Roach with that beard of his who not only shares the same Christian name as him but also the same ''Bomber'' moniker albeit a handsome version and not as rugged and intimidating looking


    There's not much resemblance facially but the Christian name, the moniker, the beard and even their build is somewhat similar. Both quite thick-set and strong looking

    Dave ''The White Rhinoceros'' Allen says he's noticed a big improvement in Brown just in the last few months and he rated him highly prior to that. He looked very impressive in all his previous fights but against Valera he threw some lovely shots and just looked really powerful, self-assured and comfortable in there. Even the DAZN commentary team were really impressed and so was I.

    Yes he's one of the most likeable and refreshingly honest fighters of all time and it is a damn shame he didn't take his career and training more seriously. He trying to do so now but I think it's far too late and he's taken way too much punishment in both his fights and especially in the gym sparring

    Listen, I predicted Josh Taylor would not amount to anything because his name is boring and plain. And I will be DAMNED if I am going to admit that is wrong. And I will be DAMNED, sir, if I ever admit that I am wrong about Pat "Boring Name" Brown. Deny, deny, deny.     He's definitely not living in Totnes, Devon. Boxrec have made a mistake with that.

    Brown is Manchester through and through (Sale, Greater Manchester)

    Devon is the other side of England, very far from there.
