Good opponent, I thought Franklin had priced himself out, but it looks like he negotiated pretty well. If Itauma can stop Franklin, then it'll be a hell of a statement. I don't think he does. I can see him getting some much-needed rounds and not having it all his own way and winning wide on the cards.

good choice by Warren an worth the extra money he paying. Franklin is durable but poses no danger of winning an can’t punch. A win win fight for Itauma

It's an interesting fight and a good start for the next boxing year. Itauma goes in as the favorite I guess, but Franklin has proven himself against Joshua and Whyte. If I remember correctly, Franklin has a basic job next to his boxing life. With his fights against Joshua and Whyte he may have put some cash on side. If he has a proper training camp until January, Itauma may be up for a big surprise.

Finally an opponent with a chin, albeit without much of a pulse.

Still, at least we should see a bit more of Itauma's stamina, even if it should be a formality as usual.

Franklin is a solid fighter, he's never been knocked out, he should give Itauma good rounds but I think Itauma will stop him between rounds 6 and 8...

Franklin is tough but he clearly lost his last fight vs Dychko. It was scandalous robbery so he should be coming into this off the back of an L

    Exactly.

    And Dychko isn't exactly special.

Franklin is very, very mediocre - but at least his chin is decent, so we should see Itauma get some rounds in.

    Yeah he's definitely tough

    Very underwhelming fight.
He should have fought again 2-3 months after beating Whyte, and at least 4-5 times this year.

Not sure if Franklin gives him rounds, looked absolutely terrible vs Dychko.

A bit surprised Franklin has taken the fight.

I really hope Franklin actually trains for it and his head is in it as well, because he is a tough and durable fighter.

I’m not sure what version of Franklin will turn up but if its the best version of Franklin, then I’ll go Itauma points on a shutout. You could probably say he is a step below Whyte if we’re being honest. And he is just not the type of fighter that will ask questions of Itauma’s chin and stamina, etc.

For me Franklin’s offence is so mediocre that Itauma’s stamina and chin won’t really be tested much here.

I’m just anticipating Franklin shelling up all fight in his corner and going ultra defensive, which gives Itauma as much breathing room as possible.

Finally! A decent step up. Franklin’s chin and ability to survive will give us some actual answers on itauma’s ability

A good fight at this stage in his development. If he looks convincing in this one, someone in the lower top 10 or right outside could be a good option.

The records may not suggest it but Franklin is likely not that much better than Dovbyshenko who Moses could not be put a dent in. so, if he really does have a great chin he could end up being a solid punchbag for some rounds which he needs but it's still not a good fight.

So this is why that robbery happened then though? when he lost 7-3 and looked like complete ****? of course. this is not a decent test whatsoever a ''decent'' test would be against Guido Vianello.
