I see it as payback for dragging Mike Tyson out of retirement at almost 60 years old.

I am 50/50, and since I am a bit of a heartless ******* I will endorse what Mr. Drago said.

    This.

Hope AJ obliterates that fraud out of consciousness then the sport.

Sometimes you just gotta put belt to ass. Just for the fact he agreed to fight a 135lb Tank he deserves a good belt to ass.

Paul is an adult. If he doesn't understand that there are levels in the sport of boxing and he believes that Mike Tyson is on the same level as Joshua, then I say let him find out the hard way. Worse case, Paul has permanent damage, best case, the fight is the last one we see of a internet influencer fighting pro boxers.

A nearly 60 year old Mike Tyson, a few months removed from ulcer surgery, was licensed to fight a juiced-up Paul who is 30 years younger, a loss that now appears on Mike's official boxing record. We have crossed way past the Rubicon at this point.

100% - my only concern is that, when Paul inevitably gets badly hurt, the sport will somehow be blamed rather than that attention-seeking moron. I have friends who don't watch boxing who think that even entertaining the idea of Paul vs Joshua or a world-level cruiserweight is bringing the sport into disrepute, and I can see where they are coming from.

It’s boxing and anything can happen, but to date, Paul has been meticulous in only selecting much older, smaller opponents who are years past their prime. Because of that, he’s taken almost no real damage in his fights. I assume that’s been a deliberate choice, both to rack up wins and because he doesn’t actually want to get hurt doing boxing.

I do 100% believe Hearn and AJ want to take the fight and see it as an easy payday, easier than Ngannou, but it’s Jake who’s debating whether he actually wants to put his health on the line for boxing. He used the AJ rumor last time to get the Tank fight, so I’ll wait to see if Jake is actually serious about fighting AJ.

Yep I usually don't say this about any fighter but I really want to see Jake Paul get seriously hurt.

Paul is for sure a smart guy and earns millions with it . If you believe that he believes an open bout against aj is similar to the 58 year mike tyson , its not him to blame for naivity .

Of course he is not seeking a true open bout against aj , kabayel , zhang , usyk , wardley or any top level current hw , not worth the discussion.

Amen, the sooner this stain on the history of this fine sport is expunged - hopefully with a particularly brutal KO of this fraud - the better.

It is utterly shameful how this charlatan is degrading boxing with his con game.

The morning after the Tyson fight, Beterbiev openly offered to fight Jake Paul. I think he personally wanted to defend the honor of the sport.

JP would never fight AJ he would be cowering and turning his back after tasting the first jab even if it was only thrown at 10% of AJs power. AJ throwing bombs at him would be too funny to watch!

And there was stone cold silence from Jake, as Beterbiev is way too close to his size and has way too much power. As I’ve said, if this AJ–Paul fight doesn’t happen, it’ll be because Jake backs out, he doesn’t love boxing nearly enough to seriously risk his own health for it.
