RJJ is a HW champion of the world.

If GGG lands it over. Trouble is landing against a phenomenal athlete who in his prime barely got touched. Im going RJJ on points.

I don't think he could take GGG's power but it really doesn't matter. Prime Jones Jr. wouldn't really get hit by the relatively plodding Golovkin.

GGG did not have 1 punch KO power, he broke opponents down, and the best opponent he ever stopped was Lemiuex on his feet. Jones would have styled on GGG and stopped him. The results of this poll are as usual embarrassing.

    Unpopular take: GGG STOPS RJJ

GGG used OSDT (which caught Canelo) and RJJ popped dirty before. GGG STOPS clean, prime RJJ

He might take a few. But Golovkin doesn't rely on just landing single bombs. He lands all kinds of shots.

When people say RJJ is not gonna get hit they are deluded. Same height. Golovkin cuts off everyone and finds them. And he goes to head and body with both hands. Unless you KO Golovkin he is going to hit you.

He broke Macklin's ribs and also cracked Groves's ribs in sparring. So it's not just the head shots RJJ has to worry about.

As for the speed, younger Golovkin was not slow. He had decent speed for a MW, fast enough to stalk people. Apparently nobody watched his career before the Canelo fights. Geale and Jacobs were both pretty fast movers and were on their bike and Golovkin had no trouble punching them. You can find other fast fighters in his record that he broke down. Brook himself was fast at MW and was running around landing his slick combos then oops, got smashed.

There's this weird idea if one fighter is faster they can't get hit. The margins aren't that big. Look at Froch Groves. Groves was younger and also the 'slick' fast fighter. He called Froch slow and a plodder. Truth is Froch was slower. But Froch found him in both fights because he was 'fast enough'.

Are we talking about the same Golovkin who never put a single dent in glass chinned Jacobs? Are we talking the same Golovkin couldn't take Gabe Rosado off his feet? Are we talking the same Golovkin who couldn't take the fragile welterweight Brook off his feet?

Golovkin is overrated by leaps and bounds on this forum. He was a myth. He was NOT some Tyson, Foreman, Bob Foster level puncher.

Prime Jones wipes his ass with Golovkin. And anyone who thinks otherwise isnt rooting their analysis in reality.

Jones took several big shots from Toney and was fine. There was nothing wrong with prime Roy's chin. And I'd really like for someone to prove why Golovkin had any more power than Toney, because itd be a hard argument to make. Toney stopped plenty of durable guys. Golovkin? Lol... not as much.

This forum is the only place on Earth Golovkin would be given any chance against Jones. Roy would wash Triple G.

The BETTER question here actually is how does Golovkin take Roy's power? Because I have news for you GGG fanboys... neither overrated Canelo nor that bum Lemiuex have near the firepower that Jones had at 160-168.
