Sod it, I'll go with that too. I think we're gonna see a tactically improved and more controlled Egg man game plan wise this time round, which may actually play into jnr's favour re the fight pace... Jnr tko win before the 10th..
Eubank has already had a significant win. He shut Eddie Hearn's mouth. Hearn reduced to holding up signs at the press conference because he knew if he opened his mouth Eubank would own him yet again. A man's gotta know his limitations.
Think it will be same as last time. Eubank dominates when behind the jab, Benn might have the odd moment where he can catch Eubank with something big. Eubank is the better boxer when he gets behind the jab, Benn can look a little lost and resorted to jumping in. If Eubank can time that Benn risks getting clipped. Eubank is getting up there in fights and making weight and the rest of it.. at some point father time might come knocking. His certainly seemed to feel one or two shots in the first fight but late in the contest it was Eubank who was close to stopping Benn so I still think he has enough in the tank for 2-0.
I honestly thought Eubank would win way easier first time around, but him completely gassing out in the later rounds told me 160 is too dangerous for him. Don’t be shocked at all if Benn stops or beats him. No amount of training can help Eubank have better stamina being completely and utterly drained.
I think the way the first fight played out benefitted Eubank more than Benn. A more reserved Eubank will be his downfall in my opinion similar to Smith 1. We get a war, i think Eubank, we get a Eubank who wants to box, Benn KO. I think Eubank boxes, therefore i go towards Benn Knockout.
This is also my thinking, it’s at least a very tough night at the office for Eubank at this age and weight! I think to myself who can adapt/benefit most from the time between the first fight and now and surely that’s the younger man?? A more prime Eubank without restrictions absolutely rolls through Benn which is why surely there’s next to no credit to be earnt by beating this version of Eubank? That’s my thinking and I won’t be watching but I’m obviously curious as to how each man approaches this rematch…
