We have seen Toe Haye reduce his decent legacy to tatters in the name of PPV Loot and this is even worse as surely Joshua does not need any more PPV Loot.

DAZN Ultimate susbcribers should be relieved that this will be on Netflix and this cartoon 'boxing contest' will not count as one of the PPVs.

Any time I see Jake Paul, I instantly think of Catch Me If You Can. The whole thing reminds me of those Frank Abagnale-style hustle vibes – selling the image, selling the story, convincing everyone he belongs where he absolutely doesn’t.

He’s the ultimate short-con marketer in boxing terms, and he’ll have his followers believing he’s actually got a shot here or that this is some kind of legitimate matchup.

The guy will probably talk his way into politics eventually, and he and Hearn will be in their element promoting this farce. It makes this weekend's fight look like Hagler–Hearns by comparison.

It would probably only be able to happen if it was a fix though. If AJ was to go in there and fight to his maximum level, there would be a genuine health and safety issue around Paul. No one wants to see body on the slab. AJ would have to agree to pulling his punches and going at 40% effort.

And who in the right ****ing mind is going to pay to watch this shite?
Because whoever does must be completely and utterly ranked amongst the biggest hall of fame window lickers out there.
For what it's worth though, JP sparks AJ brutally whenever he wants.

    Window for one please!!

I don't usually watch these types of fights involving YouTube stars and the like, but I will watch this to see Jake Paul get knocked out.

Fair play to the lad. He's done well for himself, and all things considered, someone with little to no previous boxing experience beating washed up MMA fighters is still impressive. If he kept it at that and was honest about it I wouldn't have a problem. However, he chats utter bollocks about being a real boxer and wanting to win a world title and change boxing. If you want to be a champion, fight actual boxers your size that aren't old. Also, don't be saying you want to change boxing when you do what every other promoter does; sell bull**** fights with overmatched opponents as PPV fights.

Joshua gets a lot of stick, but he should be given respect for two of his cartoon fights; Ngannou and this proposed Jake Paul fight. He saved boxing's blushes KOing Ngannou after the Fury debacle, and, hopefully, he will shut Jake Paul up brutally.

Regardless of what you think of Joshua, if you are a fan of the sport, you have to respect him for that.

Not a chance, mate, too risky. Fast Car will be telling Josh, “Take it easy on him, drag it out – we can get a trilogy out of this. You’ll never have to risk breakdancing again.”

Paul won't be dehydrated because the fight will be at HW (when's the last time AJ could have made cruiser? when he was 12?), which helps. And don't the major concerns come from an extended beating? This won't be an extended beating. This'll be AJ landing a right hand or two. There's no way a club level cruiser hangs in there while a hard hitting super heavy wails on him.

Anyway, I don't think AJ would participate in a fix. He wants another run at a title, he just doesn't want to have to fight Usyk (or Dubois) for it. If the fight happens, AJ knows exactly what we all want from him, which is the fight being referenced as the definition of "**** around and find out". I want a faceoff where 6'1", 200lb Paul tries to shove 6'6", 250lb AJ, only for AJ to not budge, then AJ to shoves him so hard he flies across the room. I want a highlight reel KO1, then AJ grabbing a mic and asking "Can we be done with this YouTuber boxing **** now?"

None of this will happen because the fight won't. But a man can dream.

I thought he was fighting Gervonta Davis? At least that is interesting in that we get to see how would a world class boxer copes with such a massive size difference. But this is just farcical. Francis Ngannou is much bigger, better and tougher than Jake Paul and we all saw how that panned out. Paul could get seriously hurt.

Ngannou, fair enough. Because of Fury's dreadful showing, and the plausible notion that a great UFC heavyweight 'striker' is a danger in a boxing ring to anyone.

But Jake Paul? No. There's no excuse.
Jake Paul's not even a mid-level cruiserweight. I certainly wouldn't pick Jake Paul to beat Ellis Zorro, and who thinks AJ should be fighting Ellis Zorro?

Remember, Jake Paul did beat Mike Tyson. So Jake Paul is like Holyfield in that regard.
