As a long time subscriber of the paper magazine I was disappointed to receive an e-mail telling me they’re rebranding as Boxing News Monthly and the magazine will be monthly as opposed to weekly. I was also disappointed that they were planning to cut the number of issues but put up the price of my subscription. Previously it was a bargain of £19.99 per quarter for weekly magazines, now it’s £9.99 per month for 1 magazine. I get the price of everything is going up but £9.99 for a magazine is just too much for me.
Shame the way life is isn’t it. Everyone having their life sucked out of them through phones. My son has just started seniors and he has to read a lot…. On his phone. All the other homework is on his phone as well. I get it saves them much needed money but it’s bad for you, simple as. This is bad news for me as well, he has been boxing about a year and is basically fight ready any time soon. At his age it’s very hard to think of presents and a subscription to this was going to be one of his presents as he’s very Carl Frochy when he started punditry at the moment. Loves doing the sport but wouldn’t know Canelo if he walked past him ha ha.
I am absolutely gutted,been a subscriber since 1986.At my age getting the Boxing News every week one of few little things i really looked forward too.Not a great surprised though,they currently dont have a full time editor and rumours have been swirling around for months
Get him an onlyfans subscription for Ebanie, some Forged Irish Stout and you will be a hard act to follow next year.
