The amount of money Eubank has made in his career is remarkable, given how limited and self-involved he always was. An outrageously privileged upbringing that few of us could ever dream of, he started boxing at 17 and quickly decided he "didn't need a trainer". Whenever he stepped up in class, his technique was exposed, especially against a one-armed George Groves, who was years past his sell-by date.

Knocked out at 154 by Liam Smith, dodged the Golovkin fight at 160 for years, then has two stadium fights with arguably the only fighter in the sport who had a more privileged upbringing than he did—laughing all the way to the bank. Two dreadful adverts for the sport. The silver lining here is that he's been beaten that convincingly that there will be zero appetite for a third fight. Not even Hearn could sell this one.

When Eggs finally steps up against an actual live opponent who isn't drained to within an inch of his life, he's going to end up getting flattened. Catterall, Norman, Ortiz, pick one, I even think Rolly Romero knocks him out.

 

Depends how bad they want the money but it will be hard to make people part with their money to watch it.
